  1. So, my thoughts is that given the history as a shut-down division that eventually founded their own developer, it would be pretty humorous to have them be former slaves. As to how we should encounter them, I voted for tough, optional encounter, but I'm fine with anything.
  2. Hey, Aarik! Wanted to know, if we have any questions for Josh, should we write them here?
  3. You're teasing me so bad there. So, can we play this as a game of twenty questions? Pretty please? :3 Otherwise I'll make a really wild guess and say he reminds me of Fritz Lang.
  4. Yeah, echoing what others have said, I don't see how any of the expanded reactivity and the likes wouldn't benefit the first plathrough just as much. This request is a little silly.
  5. When the drugs start kicking in...
  6. Gosh, this rum is ****ING HONEY. Straight from St. Martin. I wish I'd have a fountain of it.
  7. He mentioned the party member he wrote was of a more lighter tone, perhaps comedic, so as to counterbalance the very weighty and brooding tone that otherwise dominated the other characters. Would that describe Tybir? (No idea who each character is, haven't played or seen much at all.)
  8. I do admit it gets me a little concerned too. I'm hoping for the best, but we'll see soon enough how things turn out. Any idea if one of the three characters scrapped was the one designed by Avellone?
  9. Will we forced Obsidian by making its moderators write 20% more in a post than they'd ought to?
  10. Man, I dunno why, but this one just keeps cracking me up over and over. It's that #InstantRegrets look in her face. I can't stop giggling at it either.
  11. My expectations for Kong: Skull Island are decidedly on the low side. However, I have to say I've been loving what their marketing team's been doing with the posters:
  12. Pirates is a weird one; I'm well disposed to the franchise (I even liked part 4) but this trailer feels...too familiar to what they've done before? Ah, I was already at odds with the franchise from the very first film and it's only gone worse from there from what I've seen and heard. Can't say I'm enthusiastic at all about a new one, but then again it's not me the trailers (and the film, I guess) have to convince. What always makes me enthusiastic about a new Pirates film is a new Kermodian rant about it.
  13. I liked the Guardians trailer, the Pirates I can't really care at all for. I did like the Stranger Things and Logan ones from the ones I recall.
  14. Owls are super cute. They're also the black metalheads of the animal kingdom:
  15. Lino Manfrotto, photojournalist, inventor and founder of Manfrotto, died today. http://nofilmschool.com/2017/02/lino-manfrotto-passes-away-80
  16. Indeed. Both films are as of right now my favorites of the last two years. And yes, Vangelis will be tough to match up to. But I think he'll do fine all the same.
  17. Well, considering the original project had Magma working on the soundtrack, they could have done a lot better back then already. Jóhann Jóhannsson's been doing some great work with Villeneuve of late too.
  18. Not big on the dubstep, but I'm looking forward to it.
  19. That's a pretty cool mashup. I heard this earlier last month: Was intrigued by the following quote from an RYM review:
