  1. Brings whole new meaning to the phrase "This tastes like cardboard."
  2. The real trailer was before Transformers dudes, I saw it before I saw the ARG associated with it. The production title for the movie is Cloverfield, it doesn't have an actual name yet. It is being shot completely with handheld cameras, the entire budget IIRC is thirty million dollars. The trailer reminded me of Tremors, what with the flying fiery metal bits and giant worm monster. The hype associated with the movie has me reminded of Lovecraft.
  3. I have a boot disc with Ghost 2005, ERD 2005, and Partition Magic on it. It is my friend.
  4. Freeze it, try hooking it up to another PC to pull the data off of it.
  5. I continue to stick to my diet of sitting on my ass while overeating and am still seeing progress. I continue to grow more muscular, gaining muscle tone, while losing fat. Go, go mutant genes!
  6. Adderall has a higher street value than Ritalin anyway...also it should be noted that Adderall (and possibly Ritalin, never been prescribed it) is only available by triplicate in California, as a precautionary against tweakers getting their hands on it; same control method used with drugs like Oxycontin. Also I should tell the story about how I drank four Red Bulls and four Sobe No Fears in under eight hours. That was one crazy couple of days.
  7. Also if they legalize drugs I'll be that much closer to getting my hands on some Super Soldier Serum.
  8. It's not really any morally different from a strip club or an escort service, both of which are legal. Regulation by an appropriate state and/or federal board could help ensure the continued wellbeing of our nation's whores. Seriously though, where I've grown up, anybody who has the money and the want can get ahold of these drugs. Legalizing them will take away some of the stigma from those that fall into the pit of addiction and make it easier for them to seek help; and it will also get rid of most if not all of the seedy elements involved in acquiring these drugs. They're here, they're not going to go away, might as well make them as safe as possible and negate their detrimental impacts to society as much as possible. I know people who have used cocaine and all other manner of drugs recreationally for years without developing any sort of negative addiction, and I also know people who have crippling addictions to drugs as benign as alcohol and nicotine. It's all down to the individual how they react to the drugs and if they want them they'll get them. Also taxes means money for rehabilitation programs!
  9. Legalize all of it, tax and regulate the hell out of them. Everybody wins.
  10. That and your children will still survive!
  11. I think this can be proved by the fact I haven't been banned.
  12. I'm too lazy to read the story, but if these are the ones that go out if you don't take a drag off them every so often they've been like that for the past few months here. Drives my smoker friends crazy because if they stop to talk for too long they need to relight their smoke. Also: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml...5/ndrunk105.xml
  13. I was already warped. If anything I've become more civil while I've stayed here.
  14. So I guess Crysis has aliens in it? I kind of wish it was just soldiers the whole way through. But whatev, it's gonna be awesome.
  15. According to the writeup in Game Informer the 360 version will be getting new episodic content regularly. If they don't release the same content on PC via Games for Windows Live (same as Xbox Live, including paying for a bunch of stuff PC gamers have been getting for free, f***ers) I may find myself having to buy the Xbox 360 version. Which sucks because I hate the GTA controls without my mouse.
  16. I would rank that list: Red Hot Chili Peppers The Who Bjork Queens of the Stoneage Beastie Boys In order of awesomeness. Queens of the Stoneage are hard to place because while I really like their music, I have no idea at all what they're like live. Also I'm not really sure if The Who would be good live anymore, aging rockstars and all that. Red Hot Chili Peppers are in my top five favorite bands though.
  17. I am pretty settled on the Baby Ninja. I have read up a lot on it and it seems like a good choice to me.
  18. I do not have one yet, but as soon as I can scramble the proper amounts of money I will be buying a 250cc Kawasaki Ninja, the 'Baby Ninja.' Probably used. They're small enough I won't kill myself learning how to ride it, and they actually have more than 1/8" on the throttle, and the design hasn't really changed on them since they came out in 1989 so it's incredibly easy to find parts and people who know how to repair pretty much anything on them. Also since they're a beginner bike, they can be had incredibly cheap used since people generally sell them when they move on to something with a bigger engine.
  19. I am pretty sure Dr. McNinja would fall under parody law. In fact I would be really surprised if it didn't.
  20. Actually I would argue this makes American English quite a bit harder to learn. Not only do you have to learn the word, you have to learn a whole bunch of other words, then learn how grammar works so you can relate the words to each other and place the word in the proper context in order to tell which form it's taken. Languages with separate written words for similar sounding words you see the word written down, you know the word, you know what it means.
  21. I don't see it as any different from a gambling addiction. I believe that is an accepted psychological disorder, but I'd have to check with my dad's shelf of books to be sure.
