  1. Those still have QA teams, and feedback filters through them, not from players directly to devs. So I say again, no, such games don't exist... and there's a good reason for that.
  2. That's because you never played a game tested by the general public... ??? (as far as I know, none such game exist, not even Early Access titles)
  3. And then we get our keys, and pre-load... and still need to wait 2 more days.... Aaaaaaaaaarrrrgh...
  4. Pre-load however is a textbook example of DRM. So now Steam is not DRM, but they chose the DRM-sollution, why isn't it on DRM-less GOG? I still think the answer is rather straight-forward... EDIT: Yeah, I used to hate Steam too, now I have like 700 games on it XD
  5. Partnership FAQ, not actual FAQ. Burn, I didn't even get warm... rather chilly actually.
  6. Even if it breaks the entire balance? Or the box is called "GODMODE. This totally nerfs all challenge, but we added it here never-the-less. Don't use if you want to play the game as intended"?
  7. So, TSLRCM? Athernal? Anyone? Hello?
  8. Am I the only one liking the 'you are tired' mechanics? Aswell as identification? Cursed items? I feel so alone...
  9. It's around 15 Gig, 25 was an old outdated estimate. And good to see PR and wanting to sell copies of their game is still blood-sucking evil peck+feathers material. We don't allow that **** here in communist America, dammit!
  10. Wow... it's a good thing, a *very* good thing developers don't simply trust on their players for bughunting and fixing. QA exists for that. If players are left to that task, trust me, it would be the worst thing ever. The worst. Something about many cooks also applies here aswell. Also, you're giving a bit of a conundrum; content is bugged because not many players played it, but if you want players to find bugs for you they need to play content that's heavily bugged (not to mention most of them wouldn't go through one area 300 times before moving on and stuff). It's a 20-20 of failure, but fortunatelly nobody needs to make such horribly wrong decisions since QA exists...
  11. GOG don't do that ****. What you're asking would be 'Why does GOG not provide me my game in advance with DRM' to which the answer is rather simple... GOG doesn't do DRM.
  12. You're in luck, I heard for PoE2 they want to 'advance' it all the way... reducing playtime from 100 hours to 10 hours ADVANCEMENT, Romance sex dolls ADVANCEMENT, totally cinematic playstyle ADVANCEMENT, QTE Quicktime events ADVANCEMENT, decreased spells to 5 ADVANCEMENT and the most important one of all, Awesome Button Inclusion ADVANCEMENT. Or the morale being; you need to explain "advancement" better, considering all the 'advancements' we've seen done to the RPG-game section since BG2 brought us the hollow RPG's of modern times we backed an old-school one for 4 million just to get rid of those 'advancements'. You might simply not mean the same things but your wording is poor if that's the case, just mentioning.
  13. So then answer me again why we need to make this console command a checkbox in the options?
  14. The pro is to gain an adventageous position I *know* you agree with me that's a pro, otherwise you wouldn't have this discussion about making movement easier and less tactical demanding. You wouldn't do that if movement was something you see as a non-issue, would you now?
  15. What a weird question to revive a year-old dead thread that didn't go about anything whatsoever mentioned these last few posts...
  16. Except it goes against the fundemental concept of PoE... so no, it definitely NOT be on consoles either.
  17. Many pausing, no AI for teammates, no easy access to spells... Did the OP just describe Baldur's Gate II? It sounds like it to me...
  18. Normal allows more resting supplies... well over 3. And no, it's not 'that simple'... console commands are in the game too, the difference between using it and a dev checkbox is practically ZERO. So why one feels like cheating and the other "The devs wanted me to play this way, but... not really" is still non-logic to me.
  19. Even though you're asking developers to add this specifically knowing it's breaking their entire gamebalance... Still not seeing the logic.
  20. I dunno... 2D isometric sex scenes are hard to pull off to gather the BioWarian crowd...
  21. So if developers add a "god mode" toggle, they totally intend everyone to use it, and while it breaks their entire game it's all good and dandy. Huh...
  22. Logic; Manually allowing yourself to rest infinitely feels like cheating, but having the same option added by the developers would not be. Cause... reasons.
  23. They will drop it like a stone and instead go and work on Project Awesome, the cinematic romance (read: sex) simulatator.
  24. The Beta will *not* be changed into the full game. Enough not-buyers are playing the beta now that that would make no sense to do either.
