  1. Curious that is. Why do you have such a problems with the Wherewolf if SIMILAR techniques in other games left you cold?
  2. It is added by the producer after the production process... OE can't do a thing...
  3. He? And why make all this fuss about wolfie, Hades? Did you hijack topics for OVER 2 years for similar enemies in other RPG's (*cough*BG2*cough*) too? Edit; Damn... now my post makes no sense anymore...
  4. Been shown; where? In the game; in the code? I seem to have missed it. And don't get me started on "for an attack it was pretty lame" or I am forced to place a example list of 15 miles long of other games where this happens (including RPG's...)
  5. "The wherewolf should not be invernable; just impossible to kill normally due to
  6. I actually cannot believe I forgot this one. BG2... Temple Sewers... Temple of the Forgotten God. There was a monster there that *WAS* Invernable and there was 1(!) way to defeat it. " (please attempt to beat it down please... )
  7. Guybrush mode on; "That doesn't seem to work" And loads of ammo; which you usually did not have
  8. It relives though... good thing too Puzzles in games (every one) are common; live with it!
  9. @ Hades; play some other videogames. It is pretty common throughout games using first person perspective. Usually it is done for VARIATION; as mindless shooting everything can be fun; if it is all you do (even in a game promoted for that) it bores quickly. Bring in the levelbosses!
  10. Source; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/System_Shock
  11. Ah; what the hell... 1. 18 2. Black 3. Gaming (both digital as not), reading, watching movies 4. Hard Rock, Metal, Trance and Dance 5. Animation (not anime); comedies and action. 6. FPS, 2D(!) RTS, Hack&Slash, GTA (deserves its own genre ) 7. Just being themselves instead of "populair" 8. humorless; extremely busy with own looks 9. Haven't found a more negative person than me till date...
  12. Then again; You probably had the books memorised by that time and knew all the individual not-mentioned weaknesses of enemies.
  13. I am pretty sure it takes 3 months to ship internationally and to produce a PC version... that wait... got no additional work in that 3 months... " (based on KOTOR2 and DX:IW types of "not ready yet"... never cared enough about KOTOR1 to follow launch days/times whatever etc.)
  14. I remember a fight in Nalia's Castle: Look a statue... hmm... activates 2 golems. Okay... cool... 2 statues (the outer ones later) I went for the middle one. DEAD. Ok; what happened. Ah; clay golem... different from the rest. Let's see if I can kill it before activating the statue... DEATH. Full preparation...attack; deadly spells used. DEATH. DEATH DEATH DEATH Then I asked a D&D Vet; oh; you can only hurt them with blunt weapons. ONLY ONE WAY. A cheap one too; NEVER explained ingame... just based on rules one is supposed to know. Sry... but I ain't gonna read a 300 page book before playing a videogame. THAT makes me irritated. A single way that is logical to figure out ingame altough takes some shots (hammer lights up when you shoot it for example) makes me far less annoyed than a random encounter like that... Edit; and there is still an Adumanite(?) golem somewhere that also seems impossible to beat... tried various weapon types... but none work
  15. Ofcourse the costs for 2K is alot lower than MS (if MS was the producer... if it was just the cash collector not ofcourse) too. They don't have to go through the entire development process again would they? Even if it sells less it might be more profitable (for both (edit; that means BW and 2K)) And MS won't like this one since it won't give them $ in royalties per title... " Waiting for release? (damn console-exclusive deals *grumbles*GTA*grumbles*)
  16. Because (it even says so in the article) they have a large following of PC-gamers?
  17. Pretty darn often; yes. Atleast from what I can make out from finishing the first 2 Acts Note "near invinvible". We can mention in that case (quick grasp first 2 acts); Vampires (gas when dead... kind of sucks... no XP) Thaxll'ssillyia (altough you could level up and then kill him...) The Eyeless One Some Golems I think... (atleast I never found out how to kill 'em and they SUCK) Kangaxx (altough the Ring of Ram + Calysymar (or whatever that +5 Two-Handed Sword was called) nicked him) Actually; FPS do that all the time. And compare it to how SUCKY a game will be where you are forced to read a freakin' 300 page rule book to get the entire stuff in. Example: This RPG has 20 different types of damage. Here is a room with 5 enemies. Each enemy has his own weapon type that can harm. We give no info ingame how to beat such stuff... read the freakin' rulebook (since this game is made by set rules). Oh; did we notice each enemy deals 1/3 of your healthbar damage... Some pretty annoying BG2 moments come to mind here; where I needed to ask a AD&D Vet. to help me out...
  18. Not really And the new actually refered to Dunno the exact age of these boards but I already have seen 2 birthdays of it already :D Because of the totally random forum location (Junkyard) and the fact we get alot of them recent days. Besides that the HER and NEW didn't really help in your opening
  19. BG2 does it all the time... Do you HATE that game too?
  20. HER and NEW PS. Hello reading-incompetant (Skeeter's Junkyard?) spambot...
  21. Republic Commando got pushed back to the same X-mas. I believe it was for the Ep III game... not quite sure though... has been a while.
  22. Actually we are sure that happened. Release got forwarded from February to December to stay out of another LA's game's path and be under the X-Mas Tree
  23. Good to know people seem to find their stickies "
  24. R.I.P.
  25. From what I hear there will be no Peragus deleted content restored Maybe because Peragus was supposed to be without any living soul... and Sith Troopers there make no sense whatsoever in the current plot?
