  3. For the first; If you do not yet have an override folder you can create one by file-new-map (in the explorer); and call the new map Override. Default should look like C:/program files/LucasArts/SWKotor2/Override. Second; yes. You *can* screw up your saves if you have no idea what you are doing. So either stay in the "safe zone" (don't alter globals) unless mentioned to do so and back up your savegames before editing or backup your games and experiment all you want... with the risk you might get yourself in trouble (but then you can always restore the savegames)
  4. Ofcourse you kind of miss the "point" being that while the journal reports it as completed every ingame NPC and the actual GAME sees it as "unfinished"...
  5. That would be the full 7 minute song then? I have the Trance Remixes CD and it includes 2 remixes from Tiesto. The 7 indeed is (for a VERY short moment) completely made-up; but the 4 min. Radio edit (that I prefer) does remixes He Is a Pirate in the end of the song...

  10. What is wrong with a 2 Axis animation for that? Like a tiger leap attack? Anyways... it would add a bit to the gameplay; and a LOT of hell for developers... (and than not just graphics/viewdistance/LOD-wise)
  11. I rather see they use the newest build when they go out to shows instead of making PR-builds... or whatever they might do... Aye. But even if he cleans up made mess and makes radical changes (which might cause new delays/issues/mess-ups/mismanagementthings) making a statement like "We have it finalised" and than having something like "Yeah; but we couldn't put it in after it was done" doesn't make me feel any better than before he took over... Good point! I guess if that was the way it could be understandable but from what I gathered (back on the 19th) from J.E.'s words was that it was Done; and thus *should* have been in their latest build (and considering that was all "done" before the 16th thus in the 16th august build). I doubt any dev. would show up and explain this though... Especially since NWN2 is al Bio-Boards stuff... (though I would be curious what exactly could animation screw up otherwise. Character model? But that should mean new (better) meshes and stuff... it would be nice to see better (more detailed) chars; but somehow I doubt that'll happen...) Each their own; I guess...
  12. Loads of ways. Is X supposed to be able to hit something of height Y? Archers might be able to hit, but meleers cannot hit high flying things. How does "fly over the melee front and attack the mages in the back" sound like a strategic change to you? Not to mention new ways to cross maps. If you fly you might just hit all those vital trigger thingies nicely planted to make the story work out? Do they have to make MASSIVE trigger zones? wouldn't that allow far more errors if hit wrong (which can be easier if there is more to hit)? Besides that I have no idea how jumping could alter combat... or add anything but uselessness... And uselessness is usually seen as a bad thing, no?
  13. I agree BG2 looks ALOT better than NWN... I think I mentioned that somewhere (don't search! It is like 1 1/2 year ago ) Is J.E. making up excuses for the fact "working finalised" stuff is missing... and do we have yet ANOTHER (like we haven't seen enough?) case of mismanagement here? There is no other explenation as far as I can see... It starts to feel more and more (to me) like they never learned jack from all KOTOR2's stuff the more footage they throw at us; most lacking the things promised us; or reducing the functions promised. If something is reported done; don't you expect it to be done? Or do you call Kotor2 "done" and don't mind the same *quality* in NWN2?

  19. Oh. ok. Thought you meant the movie on the main page; and didn't look too much further due to crappy website design. Now that I founc it though I am STILL unimpressed. I mean; 2 tanks and 2 aircraft at the same time on screen only? What's the fun in that? And I knew about Kane returning; IS it the same actor? (nobody confirmed NOR denied that)

  21. That's just done for representive purposes. Though alot of games (never tried with either Kotors) can allow you to do the same with a NOCLIP cheatcode. I don't know if such a cheat is available for Kotor1/2... but it is worth the try...

  23. You're female? Some people tried to convince me that it WAS ingame (we are talking about the heli takeoff and attacking right?) but it has all signs of a cutscene with ingame foolishness (soldiers as large as tanks ) Gimme SupCom above this anytime
