You certainly skipped alot of gameplay in RPG's for a RPG-fan... especially if you played through them more times than any "normal" human could possibly do

Well; they used to be Black Isle; not? And I remember a certain skull-collector in PS:T "

It didn't force you to know the rules though... too bad you DID need to know them more than BG1 though... And if you hate said "cheesy gameplaybreakers" it seems OE is fan of them. Better cancel your NWN2 Special Edition, NWN2 Limited Edition (LS), NWN2 Limited Edition (DS), NWN2 Game of the Year Edition, NWN2 Special Pre-Release goodies pack, NWN2 Collector's Edition, NWN2 regular version and NWN2 DM-Pack Reservations and boycot the crap out of them, no? PS: Kotor2 breaks the rules made for Star Ward D&D by quite alot... 0_0

A game that forces a 300 page book upon you can expect some Pretty low sales (for good reasons)...

So why 200 post on the wherewolf; and no bitching on these 2 cases? There is a Kotor2 General Section; eat out your heart!

Then it was a fight that shouldn't have been there. I bet you LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Obsidian for Sion, eh?

And where Exactly in RPG laws is it written any enemy should be killable by your characters abbilities? And for me; yeah I need an outside source (read: D&D Vet.) to explain these stuff to me; something I don't like when playing my videogames. (as mentioned 10 pages before) Your invernable Wherewolf pisses me less off (especially since they tell you to run) then running into a golem that looks just like the rest exept when scrolled over reveals "clay golem" and apparently is only damaged by one type of damage I don't know of who then whacks my entire party into oblivion...; and forces me to get some advise from friends at how to damage in order to actually proceed in the game... FUN BEATS RULES

That a undead can be harmed with healing (do all undead in BG and BG2 have that? New to me...) doesn't mean that they should be invernable untill healed. As a matter of fact most skeletons/zombies/wraiths/etc. died by my blade. Only the Unnamed Temple Guardian was invincible untill healed... Gimmick to me.

And you got not suspicious it might not use the exact same rules as WoD when vampires got downed with mere bullets (or is that also possible with WoD? I really am not familiar with non-game D&D or WoD)

If only be able to hurt with silver; don't try to kill it without said material... *sigh*

And any seasoned adventurer would know the wherewolf would beat the crap out of them in straight face-to-face combat

*sigh* It DID exist. You puzzled in order to defeat some enemies. You didn't even noticed/rembered it apparently. If you cannot be bothered by this technique in other games why does it bother you in V:BL? (Are you really going to tell that in "real" combat when you beat the crap out of somebody and they just won't die you go heal the guy beating in on you? (just to use the odd "real combat" comment a few pages earlier))

Face it; is has. The question is why you don't want to see that that is the case... and condemn the Wherewolf for something you accepted and found fun in another game...- Unkillable enemies discussion
Training like "Wherewolf can be killed by silver" Abilities like "Able to run" Resources like "a silver door" ??? " The posed BG2 event is a puzzle; like the Wherewolf. One wonders why one is "ok" by you and the other hell on earth. What exactly makes the one puzzle better for a game than the other?- Unkillable enemies discussion
You haven't answered my question... AT ALL...- Unkillable enemies discussion
And I killed many a wherewolf in ohter games without silver too... but that just isn't the lore in Vampire; Bloodlines, eh? PS. Where in the handbook does it says enemy X is permanent stuck on "Near Death" untill I heal them with a spell? (and explain me how it is no "gimmick" too please)- Unkillable enemies discussion
And some should know wherewolves can only be killed by silver...which... *gasp* you do not have in your possession during that part of the game- Unkillable enemies discussion
Still some had "1 way to kill" techniques... aye? Which was your major trouble. But now it turned into "should be killable by using inventory stuff"? Which raises the following question: "Why do you notice such ways (and bother bitching about it for 20+ pages) in one game while see it as part of the game (like Wolfie is too) in the other?" PS. Area adjustment to kill enemies was also present in BG2... *thinks back about Shadow Wolves (AAARGH wolves! ) and light crystals...- Unkillable enemies discussion
Which isn't true. So I repeat the question: Curious that is. Why do you have such a problems with the Wherewolf if SIMILAR techniques in other games left you cold? And if you WERE able to kill all enemies there without problem WHY would the wherewolf cause you difficulties in Vampire:Bloodlines; considering you were familiar with the "gimmick kill enemy"?- Unkillable enemies discussion
Curious that is. Why do you have such a problems with the Wherewolf if SIMILAR techniques in other games left you cold?- Really bad sign for games coming from Atari
It is added by the producer after the production process... OE can't do a thing...- Unkillable enemies discussion
He? And why make all this fuss about wolfie, Hades? Did you hijack topics for OVER 2 years for similar enemies in other RPG's (*cough*BG2*cough*) too? Edit; Damn... now my post makes no sense anymore... - Unkillable enemies discussion
