From what I heard "upgrading" is done sort of like DX:IW with cannister-like stuff you can choose the destination for. In order to get such cannisters though you have to kill cute kids; which pisses off the guards who then wish to kill you. Anyways; that is what I have heard. Don't follow development too much; will wait for the demo (like with SS2 and DX) and if I like them (like DX and SS2) I will check out the game... so I could be wrong.

What would be the change a totally original IP "suddenly" *TURNS* into a sequel to another game? Scratching is way more logical than a transformation like that...

Same thing Fionavar said when he took the forums down; what; a half year ago now. Ran a year after the announcement. Why make an announcement and still after 1 1/2 have nothing except for it being "awesumness driven"?

Well EXCUSE ME If that when a dev says something is working I cannot see that means they just got it prepared for it's first test-run. 1 (and a half) MONTH BEFORE RELEASE. A month they were not even SUPPOSED to have. Can one see why I am surprised and slighty shocked only now the animation is in it's EARLIEST states?

If that would be implented it would only be active on certain points anyway (when you click the rock you wish to climb on for example); and then it can (and probably) will be seen as animation (or player transportation) instead of a whole 3rd Axis...

As long as you don't alter the "globals" all should remain fine. If you do alter though... you can only see the result of it once there is a ingame check of that global (which are hidden... so yeah; it will be hard to tell) Edit; and ofcourse if you alter quest status that will(!) affect the game... Second edit; but those changes should be pretty obvious! Unlike globals changes...

The Goto fix has 2 files (global.jrl and vogga.dlg). Are these 2 in the Override map *without(!)* having to dig a map deeper? If so did you already try re-agreeing to catch goto; then talk to Vogga (since if you awaken Vogga you need to retell him about the deal)?

Goto and Fuel for Telos
For the first; If you do not yet have an override folder you can create one by file-new-map (in the explorer); and call the new map Override. Default should look like C:/program files/LucasArts/SWKotor2/Override. Second; yes. You *can* screw up your saves if you have no idea what you are doing. So either stay in the "safe zone" (don't alter globals) unless mentioned to do so and back up your savegames before editing or backup your games and experiment all you want... with the risk you might get yourself in trouble (but then you can always restore the savegames)
