Hmmm... it looks like ammo is changable with a key Which is better than SS2's "open inventory...select ammo...drag ammo to weapon...put ammo back in inventory...close inventory...reload weapon...reload game due to being mashed in inventory mode"

Pretty sure DX:IW hadn't it. As for missing it... I wasn't. I rather have an effect than having to watch my hand "use" cutscene everytime I right click an item. Besides that it will need alot of variables because you might click it from short/far... hell in DX AND SS2 sometimes from behind a wall... animate that! . Also if you would be allowed to move during that using scene (which would be nice; preventing some serious backrape) that might do some funky things to your arm I think...

Yeah; definitely turn off one of the 2 cores (in the control center I think). Also note that the main menu of Kotor2 has smoke effects... and those are REALLY nasty in Kotor2. Adding the DisableVertexBuffers=1 line in swkotor2.ini might help a bit with this though... -

If a fight with one of those 4 AP bullet mutated humans took so long they could battle themselves in they seem to be pretty tough but poor damage suppliers

Then again Mkreku gets review copy full games " Hmm, the Far Cry demo had majorly dissapointed me when I tried it... and made sure I wouldn't go out and buy it... As for demo influencing buys; like I said before; more often than not. I would have missed up upon some MAJOR Classics (Majesty and such) was it not for demo releases... Edit; also it prevented me on some major missbuys I would have made without them...

Dunno; have seen some impressive long RPG-demo's so far. BG2's come to mind (even if it was 0.001% or so from the game), Dungeon Siege 1's 10% demo or the DS2 demo (also a good 5% of the game or so; but still a pretty hefty chunk) And why NO demo? It lures people into trying and (if fun) buying. If there is no demo the only alternative for a gamer to "test" would be DL'ing the full version illegally... and while it gives a full cut to the gamer; it gives no cut to the dev Edit; And I am pretty sure there is more desire for a gamer to go out and buy a game if he has played only 5% then when he has already 90%; as he will be forced to play "that same long piece" again upon buying...

Never trust a reviewer; only your own experiences. Having said that I barely buy any games before having played a demo (B&W and Oblivion made sure of that) exception line GTA... From my experience most demo's are shipped AFTER the final game is done; to lure in any doubters (scaring off the real-sure-buyers is a risk of pre-game-demo's)... And Demo's can give some great insights and make you buy games I would otherwise would never have bought (Majesty, Deus Ex, GTA (1), Dungeon Siege, Freelancer, Painkiller etc. etc. etc.)

Triggers are invisible... but you will notice when you activate it... Just exit the refugee sector into the sector where the Ebon Hawk is parked... -
It's true that they would want to make it if offered... One of the devs said so in an interview. But that does not mean that they actual make it now; considering LA did not give permission.

No; as an example where it seems delays get USED (unlike say; DNF or NWN2; or HL2) to make the product better... They messed up pretty well there management-wise! Sry... didn't knew it was copyrighted

Doesn't have to be... alot of old threads seem to be stored in Obsidian Moderation. Any non-mod can browse the threads stored there... but you need to use next thread- previous thread because there is no list of all threads; just the threads... It doesn't seem like it are destroyed/deleted threads... most are On-Topic and unlocked stored there... Edit; damn... they fixed that. Probably with the latest Tech Section Forum revision? Well; atleast we can still read the NWN2 threads made here on the OE boards "

I know... It is just that all this PR-stuff gives me a major Deja-Vu about that other "classics sequel" which was MAJORLY dissapointing in the end. Let's hope they do it better here; but I fear the worst (after all; then the relief can only be bigger if it turns out ok)

Buggy/incomplete games don't seem to bother OE, nor Atari... And I have seen how Delays *improved* OE stuff (1.0B anyone?)... Insulting members a new addition to the mod-etiquette? And it seems that this delay demonstrates once again the leaders of this project have neither. How many delays did they had so far already? And unlike some other projects (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) I doubt that the delays here can fix up whatever it is that they deemed broken enough to delay for. I just don't get the impression OE exactly knows what the hell it is doing with NWN2... If that is because of the amount of times and dates all the pushbackes are; or the info given why release was pushed back; I dunno; but fate in a good NWN2 faded long ago...

No. More the unfinished plotholes and the rushing storyline... And I just KNEW that adding in animations one month before release was a case of bad late management and would be a sign for things to come (like this). But thank you to all people who tried to defend J.E. for the well-management he did and how he was able to put it all in and well (read: debugged) before the shipping Oct. 15 "

Long live the history page. From the few times I did studies I compared details with Wikipedia and they matched all the time. So; there *might* be inaccurate info; but there is a large chance that will be edited out quite quickly. You have to be unlucky if to hit that page on an incorrect time...

Like I said; there is a max. on the def bonus you can get from "buffs" If you already met it Armor does no use. What other +Def buffs do you have?
