  1. I could care less. I don't use party members/henchmen/whatever for combat purposes. I let them stay in the party for story purposes. I want to see their personality and how they interact with you and other NPCs. I don't want them to be robots who only say a sentence here and there during major story cutscenes. If that's the case, then they fail as party members and I could care less how useful they are in combat.
  2. They said online, not MMO. Just wait and see.
  3. Omg..That game. The first one was the best, second and third one sucked. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You are right.仙剑奇侠传---Legend of fair sword and hero(translate by myself) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not familiar with the name. Is it based on a novel?
  4. Speaking of which, does anyone still have the wallpaper where your had Nihilus and Atris facing off? Can't find it anymore.
  5. See: Trials of the Luremaster
  6. I shall just say that KOTOR2 is now my favorite game of all time, and that Obsidian just got bumped to my favorite developer, and that NWN2 is my most anticipated game. A flawed masterpiece, perhaps, but the masterpiece part trumps makes all these 'flaws' irrelevant to me. Yes, I'm a "blind fanboy", but credit is due where credit is deserved, and no game - PST comes a close second, MAYBE tied - has enthralled me so. EVEN the ending, which people criticize almost unanimously, I thought conveyed a meaning that was beautiful, as opposed to KOTOR1's clearcut "ending". Yes, it was perhaps rushed and not so well executed, and some parts were a bit left unresolved, but the ending itself was marvellous. Marry me, MCA!
  7. You forgot the option 'Chris Avellone'.
  8. In no real order KOTOR II PST Anachronox Threads of Fate Lunar I + II FFX HL2 Soldiers: Heroes of WW2 NWN as a whole package Xcom I + II Soon to include Guild Wars.
  9. Seeing how Troika is dying or dead, wait a bit. The price should be dropping fairly quickly.
  10. Then what's this hypocrisy with people hailing KOTOR1 as having no flaws then dissing KOTOR2's ending? And no spoiling KOTOR2's ending in this thread!
  11. I'm 20 hrs into the game, and although also a bit worried about the ending (which might or not might not be as bad as how it's hyped as the worst ending of all time ), I'm enjoying this tremendously. The few bugs that I've encountered so far have proven unable to detract me from the fun I've been having. Heck, if it continued at this pace, it might have potentially dethroned PST as my fav CRPG (and before this, no other CRPG would have even come close). We'll see. Despite the naysayers, I'd say Chris Avellone has proven to me that PST wasn't just luck. I will virtually blindly purchase anything he has a hand in from here on Congratulations, Obsidiant. You are currently my favorite dev team. Yes, KOTOR1 had high production values and more time for polish. Certainly doesn't make it any more enjoyable. It was fun, but KOTOR2 is destroying it in every way that MATTERS so far for me. KOTOR1 ending spoilers:
  12. The game is pretty fun, my main complaint being camera control, which is too limiting. The skirmish mode is especially fun. Haven't tried mp yet.
  13. Really? What article was this?
  14. I'll bite. That's probably the main reason why I like NWN so much - the toolset and DM client. If it were a stand-alone campaign, I wouldn't have been very happy.
  15. Time-traveling lizards > u
  16. I want that NOW.
  17. NWN's OC was clever!!!
  18. 15 hrs into the game, and all I've had is the occasional crash to desktop during some area transitions. A mild inconvenience which takes 30 secs to rectify,
  19. Breaking the law is never funny
  20. I had a 9600 Pro. Worked perfectly in NWN and KOTOR. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We are brethren in this torment
