Planescape
*strangles zer"0"* You jerk, now my desire to replay PST has resurfaced again
-
Games just came, which do I play first?
- Mech Assault II.
I think PC Mech fans refer to it as Mechasshat 2 - Jefferson and NWN2
- Cops 2170: The Power of Law
From the makers of Jagged Alliance 3 ;_;- Planescape
Essentially that's exactly it. As Green Knight points out, The Nameless One is condemned to fight in the Blood War which is a nice equivalent to burning in Hell. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One of my favorite game endings of all time, and certainly the most gutsy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yup. PST's ending was simply beautiful.- Starcraft 2...ever?
Starcraft Ghost isn't following FOBOS or Xcom Enforcer's route AT ALL!- IWD2 isn't that bad...
Well, he kind of wanted to do something of Van Buren or Jefferson's scope.- New Dungeon Lords screenshots

No, its a telltale sign of a horrid action-rpg if the dev is claiming that all his past successes were crap and that they were made only because of the technological limitations of the time, and that this is his ultimate RPG *BECAUSE* it has live-action TOTALLY IMMERSIVE action combat. It's *the* combat RPG of 2004. You don't hype a RPG with virtually solely its battle system, which is what being done here, you hype it with the CORE of the gameplay. Not to say that action-based combat wouldn't be fun in coop, I just don't think I'd pay this title any attention unless it turns to be have really exceptional combat AND really exceptional everything else.- Favorite multiplayer game at the moment?
Soldiers: Heroes of WW2. A "RTS" with much more emphasis on cover and stealth, realistic and FUN vehicles, and a completely destructible environment with kickbutt physics. Playing this overlooked gem in coop with a friend is gaming nirvana. Otherwise, I'm playing Counterstrike: Source and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch.- New Dungeon Lords screenshots
The Combat RPG of 2004, now released in 2005!- Whatever you think of NWN, it's music is well-done
HotU had very nice music. NWN had some nice tracks (such as the Forest Boss), and a lot of it was too.... generic.- What game have you wanted more than
The game I want more than anything else right now is NWN2. Heck, I'm already making design documents with a buddy for our mod for it. I better not be disappointed  As for already released games, I second Servant of Eru in both aspects. The nicest thing is that the best is yet to come for that game- Suikoden gets UK release.
Wasn't Suikoden released in 1996? GJ UK, only 9 years behind!- I must be in Bizarro World...
Chris Taylor rocks. Looking forward to his RTS (WHY EA, WHY????? DIE EA DIE!!!!!!) I'll definitely give DS2 a playthrough, despite not liking the 1st much. The improvements seem quite promising. Dismissing it just because the previous game wasn't very good might potentially be a mistake. Devs sometimes learn from their mistake. After all, if we hadn't played POR2 because of the crapfest that was the original POR, we would have missed out on a masterpiece.- A Strategy Gamer in Need
The first game you need to grab is Planescape: Torment. Everything else is irrelevant and the others will cue you in on them.- Star Wars: Empire at War *new RTS*
Those space battles look atrocious. I mean, 2d plane????? If you're looking for a tactical fleet simulator, look at Nexus http://www.nexusthegame.com/ Try the demos. This game is godly.- PS2 or Gamecube?
Ever consider rentals?- New Jedi Knight Game
I'd love to have a JK game on the Source engine. Physics + force powers > u- U.S. Military helps to makes another game.
Freaking morons. Close Combat used to be a good series.- RPGs of 2005
No offense, but Resident Evil is a piece of monkey dung.- The knockout punch for Interplay?
FOOL will combine elements of Jefferson and Van Buran! It'll be like Kingdom Hearts, only with BG and FO, AND with live-action roleplaying with real players. It's a guaranteed success. Because it has an actual budget and actual devs working on it. - Mech Assault II.
