Pfft, it's still Bioware in name only!

Obsidian making Fallout: New Vegas
We just don't take kindly to Bethesda-bashing around these parts, is all. It's not in our nature.

Velvet Assassin comes out this week.
Wow, it's as if Bethesda made this game!

Witcher port cancellad
Are you saying CrashGirl is stupid? Because that wouldn't be very nice.

Witcher port cancellad
Yeah, it's great that those people lost their jobs. That'll teach those console jerks.

Good old chainsaw bikes.

COOP
You should check out tacticalgamer.com Not a clan, just a community of people who want to play using teamwork/communication. They usually have servers for the bigger FPS games.

We could ask Hades to make one on Bloodlines.

Piranha Bytes RPG teaser site
I really enjoyed the Gothic 1 demo (nice sense of atmosphere), but never got around to playing the full games. It did Radiant AI better than Radiant AI ever did.

BREAKING NEWS: ORANGE BOX 10$ ON STEAM
Console fanatics that do or don't play console FPS? Big difference. Because "My mates found it pretty **** to play on controllers, though, certainly. Goes for most FPS's on controllers, really. Very unwieldy, and less precision than a mouse, plus fewer hotkeys." doesn't sound like it. I know exactly how you feel, though. I absolutely HATED the Goldeneye experience when I first tried it (having never played a console FPS before). It took me a decent while to play properly with the 360 controller. At this point, I'm comfortable enough with it to consider it second-nature, just as KB/M would be. Dying never happens *because* of the controls.

BREAKING NEWS: ORANGE BOX 10$ ON STEAM
The game plays exactly the same on 360 as it would be on PC for me. Trivial issues like controls have zero effect on my enjoyment of it. You either become proficient with the gamepad (which is pretty easy, actually, if you just put the time into it), or you don't bother at all. Otherwise, I don't see the point why people would even bother with console FPS at all if they're just going to pull the 'waa waa kb/m is bettteerrr' card.

What are you playing now?
That's just a breather, a similarly difficult fight awaits at the entrance of the Grand Staff. Yes I know what you mean - that gigantic worm! Yeez... I tried everything! But there's no way I can bring that bugger down. First kill is easy, but when he resurrects, he already uses a full charge immediately. That's just unfair. No matter what tactics I use, there's always that little bit too much that brings my party down. I'm no further wasting time on that game. Don't give up so easily *sigh* Have any suggestions?

Obsidian making Fallout: New Vegas
I don't have anything against VATS since I haven't played FO3, but I'm just wondering how useful it actually is. I mean, couldn't they have just opted for making actually good shooting mechanics with location-based damage? Is it really mainly for Hades players who can't aim?

BREAKING NEWS: ORANGE BOX 10$ ON STEAM
This weekend only, you can get Orange Box on Steam for 10 Hades. I'd say Portal alone is already worth that. Also, Fallout New Vegas is going to be developed by Obsidian.

Case in point: Morgoth complaining about Last Remnant and Lost Odyssey being too hard, and then whining about how they suck instead.

You're the only one who ever wondered about that.

Mysteries of Westgate
I'm just curious about why they don't just use what was done for MOTB/SOZ on the Atari DD store. As far as I've noticed with my purchases of those, it's just an installer file and a cd key.

What are you playing now?
Hurlshot, if you're into this permadeath crap, you might want to look into Shiren for the DS. Turn-based roguelike. You die, you start over at the initial town at lvl 1 with all items/xp/gp you carry lost forever. However, as you play through the game multiple times, things start to change around the world. Maybe you'll meet one character in multiple scenarios, and they'll eventually join you. Maybe you'll open a caravan route that allows you to just jump to one of the towns further in the story. You also have very limited inventory space, so you have to make sure that everything you carry with you is important (and making sure you *use* all those items with finite charges, otherwise you just lose them anyway if you die), but you get to keep them in storage areas in towns (though that means not using them for that specific playthrough). Probably dirtcheap by now.
