  1. Irrelevant. I have said twice now, he remembers the first, and the last few, (the ones of recent years) but not a lot in the middle. Why? Human nature. Hell, even I tend to do the same thing, without a set of notes or materials in front of me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I only made it up to page 9. I imagine you have abandoned the idea that they were mentioned in reverse chronological order?
  2. Why on Earth would you need hero units to market? The Battlefield games are insanely popular sellers, and there's no such thing as a hero unit.
  3. Why? Where is it mentioned that Kae is the first master? When he lists them in "reverse chronological order," is it explicitly stated that it is in that order, or did we as gamers read into it that it was reverse chronological order? I don't know. It sounds like you're stretching things here to fit what you believe.
  4. Surely you mean to suggest he live under a rock and not absorb any media at all.
  5. Not sure if this was mentioned, but if the Disciple lists the master's in reverse chronological order, how come he would say that he did not know who came after Kae if Kae was the first?
  6. Kudos on posting what you want (as in an action RPG). I hope the clothes you are wearing are fire retardant
  7. It's surprising actually how much muscle mass he's loss.....and he's still freaking huge!
  8. Yes. I've struggled mightily for many years, but it seems that FIFA Soccery '97 is probably the most similar to Torment.
  9. He can't, it blew up
  10. Hehe, Rock and Roll High School.
  11. I prefer Lord Vader and his Force Push.
  12. True enough. But they had to extend upon it in an expansion pack though didn't they? Though having it in NWN doesn't really tell us how difficult it is to do.
  13. I'm not saying it's not there....but we're just a grunt. THere's no guarantee we even know how to use duct tape. I think the first guy would have been able to help us, if he wasn't zombified. He looked like he was certified in duct tape usage.
  14. It's been a while since I played, so I don't remember the weapon models. I'm not sure how well it would work on a shotgun, since there's the pump it could interfere with. The assault rifle seemed rather compact IIRC. Plus it assumes you've actually found duct tape. The flashlight could also be an intrinsicly safe one, that requires you to twist it to turn it on. But the reason why I liked it is that I had to make a choice between being able to see something before it jumped out at me, or having my weapon ready.
  15. That is actually a compromise, and was not something I had read into any of your previous posts. Before it just looked like "I don't mind if they add new stuff, as long as I get all the stuff I want."
  16. I didn't like it because it made the game more difficult. I liked it because it provided an opportunity cost. EDIT: Besides, I never really bought into duct taping the flashlight to your pistol. It would be awkward, assuming you could actually find a place on the pistol to duct tape the thing to. You can't just wrap the tape around the pistol, unless you'd rather never fire the gun again.
  17. When you've consistently flipflopped on a great many issues, including Fallout 3, it's difficult to take what you say too literally. As for the most recent "irony" comment, it's clear you and I just have different definitions of what a "middle-ground" is. I don't consider it to be "flexibility" to have exactly the game you want, with extras added in for other people. Allowing the inclusion of game components that you don't have to use is just an added bonus, and in no way will affect you at all. It doesn't seem flexible to me at all. I'm quite confident that the inclusion of a first-person view or real time combat would be rejected, if it meant cutting into any of the "traditional" Fallout items. It's easy to ask for extra, bonus stuff that doesn't affect your play style. I'm sure everyone would like that.
  18. Nope. Actually out of respect for some requests by other posters, I've taken it easy on you.
  19. What about the video game-esque missile shooting scene "
  20. Yup. I typically switch to Slavery relatively quickly for the savings in upkeep. It helps if you find yourself expanding a bit too fast. I have actually never been a fan of Hereditary rule. The biggest benefit of Representation IMO is the science beakers. Though I guess you don't have too many specialists at this stage of the game. But I do find I prefer having it long before I can actually research representation.
  21. I would really like it if there was an old Highwayman you can restore and fuel up with powercells :D
  22. I hadn't heard of the % of the profits. Though I did hear he did not enjoy making the film. However, I also heard that he was the consummate professional, and never complained or anything.
  23. That may have had something to do with it. I haven't seen either of those movies in so long that I don't even remember what they are about. The only part I remember was the teenage boy falling into the water, only to have some barrier magically appear on the top of the water so he was no trapped.
  24. Players of the Ultima and Wizardry games would disagree! " Let the fun begin!!!
