  1. Yesterday night. Bittercuts in 1 h and normale sabre in the other. Both upgraded to exceptional quality. Spirit of decay talent on line. In the inventory window the DMG for both sabres was 20-30. The bonus displaced was strenght and weapon specialization. Same bonus and same DMG for both swords, no +20%/or something for bittercut. In combat both deals same DMG, no coorode lash or something added to bittercuts, she just do the damge in corrode instead of slash. Lash effect added: burn for normal sabre and corrode for bittercuts. The lash did for both swords 25% of the DMG, no enanche of the corrosive One. So i claim it doesn't work at all'. Probaby is a collaterali effect of the druid elemental DMG removed from spell or something...
  2. With 3.02 i discovered that spirito of decay actually do nothing to the bittercuts DMG what a bitter surprise
  3. Chanter: trouble until you reach lvl 9. After that just run around and wach people die. Druid: maxed shapeshift druid need no equip and can be the best DMG dealer in game at the same time, the problem is that the class itself is a bit fragile, and after 15-20 sec you have finished the fight or you have to run away. Wizard : good equilibrium in offense & defence, if you are allowed to rest often is the most powerful choice.
  4. Just wondering : if you reach 0 attack recovery, there is a difference in attack speed between 1h weapon and 2h weapon? I remember that a non-fast weapon in 1h have 30f attack + 60f recovery In 2 weapon become 30f attack + 30f recovery. So the 2 weapon mode is kinda "faster" until you reach 0 recovery, in wich speed is equal. But the speed of a 2h weapon ( es great sword) is the same of a sabre? In the case if you manage to reach 0 recovery with a 2hand weapon like in your " 0 recovery variant" you do the same number of attack every minute as using 2 sabres? In that case go for 2 weapon style have no meaning...
  5. Paladin is more for healing/ protection - suppress affliction/ accuracy aura. Chanter is DMG ( dragon chant or dire lash ) , mass paralyze, mass Ice DMG, occasionale some buff or evocation. Choose your destiny

Btw I'm testing your buils, they are doing DMG comparabile to a quite fully optimized shapeshift cat druid [wich recenlty had become the DPS gold standard, at last for ~15 sec] and they are really MORE resilient( don't die before shapeshift expires ;D) and much more durable, the output remains good also after the buffs end. between new ispiration and what you writed i will try a solo run with a pale Elf warrior that dual wields bittercuts, because i want to free your LOP from her addiction to potion of deleterious alacrity ( they are bad for healt )

For the sake of discussion: i actually think yours is one of the best build for solo chiper, ad anything more oriented to DMG or pure range will end in be to squishi or in a pure kiting game that i really hate. Is solid and Pretty fun. What i dislike sadly is the solo chiper in itself, because like i said earlier all the best power require a target ally to work. You become figurine addicted for every fight. They don't work even on charmed enemies
  8. Been playing this backlash cipher solo on hard for a bit, currently lvl 8 with Hiros and supper. Working out really good. Currently using Äru Bekr armour and eating sugar for antipathetic field kiting when there's too many mobs and the soloing power of this class is amazing! Can't imagine what could beat this class in solo gameplay? Ty for sharing this idea!In my experiece Chanter (all def talents + maximized dragon chant) and wizard ( melee build, sword e shield that shift in a melee monster with llengrat displaced Image, alacrity, citazel staff) are by far stronger and more fun in solo. When i play solo with chiper i feel always these problems: 1) a lot of the best power can't be used or can't target self ( pain block, amplified thrust, amplified wave, while with others class you live abusing your best spells/abilities 2) you need to do DMG ( or take a good chunk with backlash beldam build) for use spells. So any kind of disable hurt you much more than other class 3) i fell trapped in using only charms/ block people spell, all the rest are really underwhelming if you don' t have a party for abuse the bonus
  9. Chant is by far stronger. More DMG, very huge aoe, no time limit. The last may seem a pun, but if you solo usually immolation wears off always too early! Ah and you don't lose Life in the process

You may be right, but forgot to consider 2 things: 1) with 7 nights you deal damage faster, it is an istant spell and not a dot, so if people start to turn red is better that than apply another dragon chant 2) the nearest enemy are usally ( and bigger enemies always) hit by 2 or 3 of the ice rays of seven nights, so the DMG is actually much higher. I remember to hit an ogre for about 200 DMG ( but that was an extremly lucky shot with crit and some buffs)
  12. I found ( in my play expeeiece, i have not done proper math to prove it ) that the max dps with chanter are obtained using a chant made by dragon trashed and winds of death. Doing so the chant counter reach 5 much more faster than using dragon chant alone, and allows you to spam 7 nights spell faster and more time per encounters.this deals defenetly more DMG that a mono dragon trashed chant, in wich the invocation is long postponed.
  13. Idea: bear run! You can use only the bear ( or whetever animal companion of your choice). But you can lvl up ofc ( this is obviously much worse than play with barb >:D )
  14. Really you did an amazing achivement Harpagornis! Well done! PS: just in your interest, i think a noober 2 run with barb will be just a replay of what you did now but with less accuracy... You will not die of boredom after a while?
  15. I' m going to do a solo run as a bleak Walker. I think i will go for gun + quick swich, so the amanua will probably be the race of choice. The plan is to kill everything/ everyone if possibile. Ideas for optimization?
  16. I cleared the monks of the shining skull in the longwach falls with 2-3 shots, so i think that the wand is VERY powerful
  17. Wizard. Can adapt to every situation and is very fun. Try a melee build with evocated weapon. Don't need much more rest than another carachter in the end.
  18. I wantbto try blunting wisdom + blast + penetrating blast and see what happen
  19. I'm doing the same but with corrode wildstrike beacause il less resisted. I'm thing to not take vulnerabile attack, since 5 dr when you score so huge hits doesn't matter much, and you lose huge speed. Maybe the other attack modal +20%dmg, -5 precision will prove better. I' m in doubt for outlander frenzy, the good thing is per encounters speed boost ( vs angio gambeson 1/day alacrity of motion) the bad is the casting time, you want to trow yourself in battle asap usually.
  20. Perfectly viable in my opinion. Just be sure to give to 2 of them an "extended" reach weapon like pikes ( hallo tall grass !) at least as alternative weapon, so if they have difficut in engaging, you can just swich weapon and hit from the second line. Really i see no problem
  21. Hear a dumb man: if you just spam the button " 1 " you are always aiming for the nose, and the game go on Pretty fast. You don' t need to read or anything, just spam the button as fast as you can. I'm quite sure that consecutive victories don't matter much, you just need to win some games. I bet you will get the talent in 2-5 minutes of pure spamming, you will lose much more time and money with respect or other kinds of optimization. Same goes for dozen game. Spam is the way
