My only experience with mindstalker is Ydwin, who is on the fragile side for how I do combat. In principle, she works well, getting off lots of high speed attacks to generate focus for some outstanding debuffs. In practice, her abysmal CON of 10 and dual squish classes keep her constantly on the cusp of blacking out. Your high CON streetfighter idea would likely fare better in this role. Unfortunately, POE rogues don't get any more skills, which means they somehow need to bluff, stealth, slight and disarm with little left for athletics. A watcher would have an easier time, due to berath's boons and trainers, though.

I'd be careful being stuck with a bleak walker, so you don't have to pigeonhole Rauatai as being cruel. I think, if anything, they're Rational. Slow conquest of a continent by degrees will do that to you. Sort of the same reason to oppose slavery. A slave needs guards, a subject will guard himself. On the other hand, it could be what you want out of this character.

I personally find Rauatai far more in line with Magrannic principles than Woedican. Part of this is the obvious reliance on guns, cannons, and bombs, but they overall seem a bit more practical and adaptable than blindly keeping oaths and compacts. A Rauatain would betray a treaty if he thought it was no longer binding, and it's not hard to imagine them executing an incompetent commander. Of note to me is Kana reports being harassed by the leaden key only once he comes to human lands.

Reminds me a lot of mine, except for some minor points. Seems alright. But since you asked- Caedman Azo is kind of a jerk, and attacks you unless you specifically avoid him, or promise not to tell on him. I found these terms unsuitable. Lillith is an undead monster. Also a very hard fight. If you're a fan of Abydon, the Crucible Knights are the obvious choice, but no one says you have to play obvious, Imprisoning Thaos just seemed like leaving too big a weakness for some outside party to commune with/summon him. YMMV.

A lot of the non-Aumaua from Rauatai are left unnamed. The Orlan Peddler and Barkeep being examples. There is Koami in Sayuka, who is not only a Rauatain soldier, but a meadowfolk. Seems to follow local naming scheme. All 4 Rauatain crew are Aumaua, too. This gives you a lot of leeway. If your characters clan was fully assimilated, or wished to be, they might adopt local naming conventions. If you are from clan of dwarves that is far flung and only pays tribute to the empire, you might be a 'typical' dwarf with a Rauatain education. Or, it could be something in between. Anecdotally, we have no reason to believe that the Rua family hasn't kept their original clan name, and they are influential members of society.

Didn't vote. I am lowkey in love with my crew of scavengers, misfits, drunkards and Little Leuca. I would happily take them on more sea or even land based adventures. And since I like the ship combat, that could be as simple as more enemy watercraft and island events, or something even grander. The mechanics of future games is dependent on the needs of the plot. A harrowing voyage into the lands of the Stormfolk, or Nasitaaq could certainly be fun. But if we're getting our Sherlock Holmes on in Urban Aedyr, then sailing will be much less important.

I've done some experimenting and I've got each looking ok. Xoti looks good in Exceptional breastplates and the regeneration leather. Tekehu really needs Huana armor, which effectively means reckless brigandine. Serafen rocks the chainmail from the buried treasure. YMMV. I miss my sanguine plate, too.

Fair point. I probably would not enjoy Xoti narrating the game, either. As a veteran of the first POE, the narration feels particularly forced amd lackluster because the first game had a good narrator attached to it. "And the divine attributions are just murder on the syntax" Parasol_Syndicate says.
