  1. Simple. Next month will be globally dedicated to bug fixing. And full game will be released. What do you want after that for DLC ? Give what you want to improve or new things to add. References can be WM part 1 and 2 and things already known in BETA 4. Here my list : - No particularly more levels (12-16 in POE1). Good thing if it happened but not my first need if all 20 levels are well built. - More class. Like +1 class (3 subclasses...) give already a ton of new combinations. (And I think no more, because it is already a great amount of work for base game...) - One additionnal subclass for each class. - For me it is better if DLC can be done after the first story. Like that, no problem with "when" to do that. - I want new companions but extremely early. Same for all new weapons. (max 50 % of DLC) I have never upgrade unlabored blade for this reason. (laziness if only 2 hours remains...) - A true difficulty. Kraken is cute, but... hum... So easy to kill... - Give the opportunity to rebalance some stuff. Like, passives abilities... A general balancing. - Return of 'grimoires with novel spells'. And you ? Yes it is soon, Full game is not yet released but guys, Obsidian start to thinking to that. It is forced. Nothing is random in a company. So, it is the good moment to give your expectations... : p
  2. My bad, not my first intention, up to high mid-tiers. I test now streetfighter with powderburn and I go back to modifie or not. EDIT : Ok I tested. Modifications done.
  3. Tiers list – Beta 4 - Until level 9 v. 2 Decision : 60 % on single class / 40 % on multiclass TOP TIERS Devoted (Fighter) Beckoner (Chanter) Bleak walker (Paladin) Goldpact knights (Paladin) Berserker (Barbarian) Shifter (Druid) HIGH TIERS Unbroken (Fighter) Base Fighter Nalpazca (Monk) Troubadour (Chanter) Helwalker (Monk) Shieldbearer of St Elcga (Paladin) Kind wayfarers (Paladin) Darcozzi Paladini (Paladin) Ascendant (Cipher) Shattered pillar (Monk) MID TIERS Skald (Chanter) Base barbarian Base Monk Street fighter (Rogue) (Tested. He is not bad. Good option with powder burn, but extremely limited by the cost of rogue abilities. Plus, seems fragile. And need change of weapon or stay block with a melee weapon when there is melee foe) Black jacket (Fighter) Base Druid Base Chanter Assassin (Rogue) Sharpshooter (Ranger) Lifegiver (Druid) Soul blade (Cipher) All priest Mage slayer (Barbarian) LOW TIERS Base Wizard Base Rogue Fury (Druid) Stalker (Ranger) Corpse eater (Barbarian) Beguiler (Cipher) (No Boeroer, not crazy as you think : p) Base Cipher All spe wizard Ghost heart (Ranger) Trickster (Rogue)
  4. Yes but your strategy will be perhaps to conduct a high accuracy + Hit to crit. So can be important for your "choice" when multiclasses for example. Optimized the fact of do +25 % as often as possible. Devoted specifically have high interrest to maximize crit. The strategy to build an unbroken for max damage is perhaps elsewhere. (Work with push attack ? Never try...)
  5. Even with priest greatsword + modal When you compare to 2W, seems to be weaker. I have done few test, and yes you can reach 140+ damage on a crit. WHEN there is a crit. you have -15 accuracy and you are slower than 2W (50 % with style) So numbers are very impressive but in fact, greatsword is behind 2W. I'm pretty sure of that. I clocked 4 times the length of my fights, 2W still win.
  6. Not the same thing than a fireball ? If you are surrounded by 4 enemies, each has 100hp and your per hit damage is 25, you need 16 hits to kill them all. 3 attacks to kill opponent for fireball and cleave stance need a first kill and 6 hits. So yes this is strong, but no less than others things now.
  7. Perhaps a Power Level +2 is needed. Everybody say disciplined strike si pretty strong, but for 2 abilities point, PL+2 would be not crazy... Work well for me. base of 3s or recovery + DW so you feel less the malus. Not "terrible" to me : p When you want high accuracy... Personnaly I prefer Sabre or Axe in this sandbox. In the full game... Wait and see. Also Recovery time : p But we know the game, you disable the thing after first hit ^^
  8. Need to use devotion of the faithful via a pure priest. Sometimes I use rapier, but I also like use sabre, sword (in full game if there is a lot of immunities) or axe (axe is underestimate actually). But I confess, I try bunch of thing level 9 very often in POTD, so we can't really know. Anyway, most important thing : Devoted is in front of, rest is detail : p 70 or 80 % of crit is pretty decent. Exactly.
  9. I crits 80 % of time. Devoted need the best source of accuracy ... Only one class give that. ^^
  10. In fact, everything depend of your vision of tiers. For me, except black jacket where there is troll punishement (he is ~ 1 tiers less than others like you said) tiers are not deep chasm. Like I said to Beoroer this is 1) subjective, for sharing with others peoples, and for fun and 2) Differences are extremely restrained ! Last argument for Devoted, if you have high accuracy + mass Hit to crit, your 25 % is not only "10 %" in average. This is not my findings. Crits extremely often. And again, +2 penetration for THIS beta (not the full game) is pretty strong actually, even with a sabre (only one source of damage).
  11. I don't think unbroken is so broken. Ok this is +10 penetration... when disengaging. So not crazy at all. Devoted first, for ever ! For weapon I hope the final shock point is at max 60-70 % of the game. Because take a soulbound at 95 % of the game is useless... (Same for companions) EDIT : And while we're talking about that : same story for components and/or weapons drop by final boss / final encounter of DLC like two dragons or Kraken. Oh yeah ! A legendary weapon... That I can't use... because... The game is over...
  12. Everything depends if Obsidian put x2 immunities or x3 immunities. If not +2 penetration start to becoming an heavy way to overpen and +25 % critical is pretty solid. In fact, we can also reverse the argument. If a devoted use a another weapon, this is not the end of the world. He just lose his bonus tentatively for few battles.
  13. I actually deeply re-test Beckoner. Update of Tiers List soon ? : p It is weird because I don't remember why in BETA 2 and 3, I went down Beckoner at this point...
  14. Interresting list. But why chanter is "OP" ? Paralysed (forget the name : p) is very good indeed, but he cannot kill all ennemies as well as others melee classes. Beckoner need 6s to create invocation. It is pretty long for a WTF tiers. Except if it is overall. "defensive side". ? All the rest seems to be at the good place.
  15. You are totally right. I understand the reason. I simply explain my feeling about that. Add more contain a risk but tuning is always possible. And (I talk for me) I can forgive some differences of power and logic ; On the other hand I tolerate less well the lack of choice. I think for some players it will be quite the opposite ! It is totally understandable. However, whatever one thinks about it, some "lines" of classes are really little filled. Even if am subjective. Factually, few classes have 5 abilities in a line (often with... second/third choice), against 11 for others classes. probably a difference between casters and physical. But this is notable.
  16. - Concussive shot have a slightly lack of power, even for one bond. - Pets seems to be less powerful than POE1. - There is a racket with protective companion (+1 engagement = defensive) for stalker link (+10 accuracy = offensive). And 2 abilities point for +10 accuracy and +1 engagement if both attack the same ennemy is a little bit discouraging. - Hobbling shot. Affliction level 1, for 2 abilities point. Yeah... - Big Nerf of wounding shot since beta 1. - Like often, second ability (when sucessive) give 50 % more effect only. There is a lot of example like that, Rapid recovery for constant recovery, exalted focus for zealous focus etc etc. Here this is for defensive bond. Obsidian like use this approach but I strongly think that it encourages not to take the talents.
  17. Well well well, so I'm not the only one to think that. : ) ... In fact, one can consider that is OK. A Poor passives tree ability is completely assumed choice. In Divinity OS 1 for example, you have poor choice of active abilities, it is not a real problem ! The only difference is that here, talents/active/passives are not particurlarly tactical (Sadly or not, this is not the question). So for me, the pleasure isn't to cast FoD at the good time for example, contrary to OS 1 where you must rapture, soul sap, battering ram etc etc at the good moment (and all are useful !...). Here with pillars saga, this is more like NWN 2 and others game of BUILDING numbers. So, in this situation, number of associations is important. Look at the number of feat in Neverwinter nights 2 and you have your answer. NWN2 is not an example for everything, but honestly, there is a big big choice. Often not balancing at all, casting pre-buff before battle when this is 6s by level is awful, but this game is diversified and fun. Pillars if far better for a great amount of thing, but not his tree. Tyranny for example was interresting but extremely linear and limited (Even if there was perhaps more choice each line than POE2 actually for one class...). And in exchange you can create your spell. THIS idea save literally the game. The feeling of choice is incredible. So, if in POE2, there is "divinity side" (tactical), OK, a poor choice is not very problematic. But honestly, pillars stay pillars. Too much on the D&D model to change his prerogatives (beta 1 to 4 give general same "feeling" than POE1). in this type of game, people must to have fun with the combinations. So : - Soften Stacking rules. - Always offer more unique abilities per line. I mean look at line 1 of Fighter. Seriously... ? This gives the impression to the player that he did not choose "forcibly".
  18. And... Good bye I don't speak with you anymore !
  19. It is your opinion, I have mine... Judge my arguments and not my personnality. If not, you are a troll and I don't speak with trolls. Often, when you are here, there is a problem, stop using ad hominem attacks. I simply say there is a lack of unique abilities (particularly in passives) in few lines. No more, no less.
  20. Barbarian need a 45 % of damage with carnage. (Actually 33 %, was 66 % in POE1) Actually this is not really crazy.
  21. Ranger + Barbarian in early are far better than rogue. In POE1.
  22. Ranger and rogue need a serious recalibration.
  23. Same choice for all classes. And if I am not a melee ? And if I want put in another passive ability ? This line is now : line of all styles, no more. Let's me explain differently. Each new line I have now a feeling of poor choice. It is perhaps wrong, false or what you want. But it is here. When I analyse this feeling there is a source of this : Lack of choice. Simple. I have play to great number of RPG and it is rare when I have this feeling. Here, even in MULTICLASS, there is a very limited choice. I'm not even sure that POE1 got less talents. I think there was more talents to choose each time I level up. Plus, question. With Fighter would you never take disciplined strike - stances - One style - confident aim ? No, 99 % of players will pick theses talent because the others are not at the level. 4 abilities already highway / obvious choice. In clear, each line I would like have 4 choices like that. and that I say "yeah there will have to think ; everything is quite interesting" Obvious choice must exceed your ability of allow abilities ! (4 interresting choice for 1 pt of abilitiy : dilemma = good !) If not, it is not very fun. And level up are boring.
  24. Twin arrow + Stormcaller was pretty cool. ...With a great pet which could do easily 80 pts of damage... Pet was the best tank in POE1.
  25. If you nerf intuitive Fighter become not anymore interresting. Problem : Intuitive is at bad place OR few others abilities are simply bad ? I go for the second statement. Zealous focus ? : 5 % of hit to crit = 2.5 % of critical hit for each party member. No,if zealous need a boost, IN ADDITION to THAT, intuitive is the trump card of Fighter^^... 1) If you down intuitive you break the trump card of Fighter. 2) Others abilities continue to make little or no difference and Fighter is bad in his niche (strongly outworn by berserker and paladin).
