No, a new concept. +1 is definitely too much for low value (like 1 power source). Or you stay with this concept, but you open the way to gain power source with your feature. -

problem. 2 + 1 is not the same thing than 1 + 1. 1 + 1 = 2 x 1 So +1 is bad bad bad... 3 power source is a true non-sense. (true cost x3) In all case +1 of the rage cost is FAR too much. -

Lol 1m... So if I want a great and larger effect. With 50 % I have only 1 m ? In understand why now I stay to 10 contrary to POE1... With 19 in INT. I need +50 % until +100 % of area of effect. Like 7.5m - 10m, min... -
In fact 20 % is the perfect number for two handed style. And +10 % for base damage. Need slightly more than = 2W.

Voices are extremely important to feel the message. It is a good news for sales : casual don't love read mass of text and others languages are accustomed to subtitles with a background of english voice. But when you look VOst you remove the voice, it is not the same thing than you only reading. The voice is undoubtedly an added value for the emotion. I remember the "good, good..." of Raedric, the cry of durance etc. More than what they said precisely at that moment ...

Excellent news !! Personnally, for me it is perfect, even if there is less text, it can be a good thing : Obsidian is obliged to go to the essentials and energize his purpose. Something that does not seem essential to me, but many people were allergic to the mass of text of their games. So it is awsome in all cases.

Barbaric blow is clearly too expensive. With old carnage at 66 %. Yes you can put 2 Power source. Here this is not the case. -

Personally I'm not impressed by soul annihilation. Damage are only OK. But at the high cost : your focus is totally empty. -

Not really good. Berserker will be better single class. And there is no connection between +40 % damage and carnage (sadly). -
There is too much options. 1) 3 proficiency points of investment for different forms of modal, always in full equity. E.g. : Half-sword [base] Deflection - 5 / Penetration 1 Half-sword [intermediate] Deflection -10 / Penetration 2 Half-sword [Full power] Deflection -15 / Penetration 3 And, like a modal, you can choose the might of the effect among three possibilities. ---------------------- 2) An old idea of mine. Again, three levels of proficiency, but to increase the differents effects. E.g. : Half-sword [base] Acquisition Deflection - 10 / Penetration 1 Half-sword [intermediate] Down the malus Deflection -5 / Penetration 1 Half-sword [Full power] Increase the bonus Deflection -5 / Penetration 2 Here, only one modal, but increased level after level. ------------------------------------------------- You can add variants, like the fact that the basic versions are all directly available to the player. To leave only two points to increase.

So dune, you use a big weapon to do that ? It is best to stay with one gun + melee weapon or switch (loss of time) on a better weapon ?

It is OP... Except if you are dead : p Monk is on this concept of taking damages (like helwalker in fact) And if you use door of priest you monopolize your buff character all 10 seconds. It is legit for me. I think if you have wright dune, Obsidian would have put this ability level 1-3. Like before. If it is so late, I think this ability is like POE1. Same for Iron wheel. -
Interresting. Like an item at 25 % of the DLC (a first well hard boss could drop that) which allow the player to unlock PL8 ? I like the idea.

Yes, Twinned shot have already a high risk to be extremely powerful, according to how it will be proposed Few classes have more decisive ability PL 6 or 7, when others have not this luck. Monk in multiclass should be solid mid game. Imagine Drug monk + Enduring dance. That's why Shattered pillars is already the worst monk. 25 % against 50 % with turning wheel. Awful. Priest, no multiclass with this spell that I like ! too bad : p It can be useful to create a priest single to obtain best buff as we can. Why not. But visibly all the classes are not in the same case with the split of PL 8 an 9. -

In fact, Andrea you speak of the bug of Cleave + swift flurry ? And for the answer I think cleave actually doesn't proc himself a new cleave. It is an illusion when all ennemies arround are low health. (not totally sure, to confirm) -

Extremely dangerous to nerf disciplined strike. That one of reason why Fighter is top tiers. Except that Fighter is mainly single target. Yes you can use cleave stance, but you must kill someone before. I have a word with all stat of all classes. On the paper, pure stat are low. It is only few tricks that is create this power. Fighter don't win on damage. (Rogue / Paladin) Fighter don't win on penetration. (Druid) Fighter don't win on accuracy (Paladin) Fighter dont win on speed (Monk-Barbarian) So, in fact Fighter is overall "average -" in all elements. and he have 2 trumps cards (Disciplined strike and Cleave stance). If you nerf one of these two trumps cards, you kill the Fighter. I'm OK with that, meta game is meta game. But personnally, memories : I have never play a Fighter in POE1 for that reason. (I have test it obviously but that was awful) Fighter NEED a niche in single target - jack of all trades in all stations. Black jacket is awful and without Disciplined strike and cleave, unbroken down in low tiers easily. You has been warned !^^... Be wary of the might of the nerf. -
If Obsidian is worried about too high bonus with one ability (20 % proposition of dune), he can pick an old idea : Dirty fighting +15 % hit to crit. Vicious fighting (in the same style of '+50 % with second ability' : ) +10 % hit to crit = 25 % hit to crit. Seems legit for a passive with 2 ability points.

It is a solution Gromnir. But in my vision, an inspiration level 3 must give a good dream. Might is good, Perception is good. Constitution is good etc. So, it is more likely that swift is the problem. If there is nerf and that's become an "ok" effect, people will start to focus on pure damage and not anymore try to do combination with Inspirations / Afflictions. But, to see with the full game... We are at the level 6 in the beta. Level 3 inspirations seems to be strong but frankly it is normal. We are level 6 and without stuff. -
Rogue have one problem : he is competing with the power of some multiclasses. And question : why he is not one of the first choice for the multiclass ? Because it is difficult for him to found his place with an another class because he doesn't offer strong passive or buff. The main advantage of fighter for example, is his buff overtime. Finally, rogue only add... few active abilities ? (And not the best...) Often a mandatory for trigger is own weapons and passives with an affliction (+50% when there is an affliction) So the main purpose is to add an interresting modal (propositions of dune are all good) or add a buff overtime like disciplined strike. For single class, down all cost at 3 to 2, if not this is frankly unreal and stupid. and smoke to 1. Don't forget 2 power source as a value of two times 1 power source... It is perhaps obvious said like that, but it is glaring in game. 3 power source must be extremely powerful. Like strong spells AoE instant damage, level 18-20...

For DR story... Was a big problem with POE1 if it was your first playtrhough or if you have a bad memory. (like me) Because if data is not displayed, you cannot adapt your weapon slightly before the battle. Quickly this is boring and you don't pay attention. So if obsidian want to push players to change frequently of weapons, all data must be always knows. AR - defense. ETC. Far more logical. If not, the player dont take the habitude to look at high-left screen. In the head of the player "boarf, anyway there is 3/4 of time few "?"" (true story)
