^I kited a group of mutants that I needed to kill for one quest into a group of outlaws that I needed to kill for another quest. Mutants won so I kited them into town where the guards killed them for me. I never even drew a weapon.

Still playing Elex. Just reached level 10 and finally got all my attributes up to 30. From here on in I think I'm going to specialize as a ranged combatant. Pretty sure I'll be joining the cult. Cults are usually pretty fun.

I'm so disappointed in the Obsidian forums right now. This post deserves more likes. -

I like this idea but unfortunately it's inconceivable. For birthdays they can wheel in a guy in a black cloak declaring himself to be the Dread Pirate Robertson. -
RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - DA REAL DEAL

This wouldn't be as big a problem if every game didn't have to be open world with combat, platforming, a stealth mechanic, crafting, mini games, and some kind of character progression system. -

Just imagine the romantic dialogues. Cudgel: Hold me tighter! Me: Of couse! The grip is getting slick with blood, after all. Cudgel: blush. -

Well we don't have to **** foot around anything, because it's clear what your hesitation is related to. It's funny because of the unfortunate merging of themes in an innocuous happenstance. Don't tell me you think the joke is in confirming stereotypes? It's in the dramatic irony of a classic gag taking on an unintended layers, and the misfortune of the accident. I'm missing context here. I see a guy pretending to pick something up off the floor and then he drops something for real. I assume the punchline as is to do with whatever he drops, but I can't tell what it is. -

http://www.boyfrienddungeon.com I can't decide if this is horrifying or brilliant. -
At least you have a real desk. I use a folding table.

Parana Bytes and their Gothic/Risen/Elex games are the inverse of From Software’s Dark Souls/Demon Souls/Bloodborne games. Both style of games are crazy hard and refuse to hold the player’s hand. Souls games lean heavily on player skill and as a result the character becomes a reflection of the player’s confidence, skill, and stupidity. Parana Bytes games are the opposite. Player skill can help, but character skill is king and your playing style becomes a reflection of the character: the character start out weak and at the bottom of the barrel and if the player is smart he/she starts out kissing all the NPC’s butts (so they don’t get angry and kill you out of hand), using cheese tactics (so you don’t die), and generally running away like a coward (so you don’t die like a little punk).

I played the game with 3 friends and it gets a little arcadey like that- but even then, I would have a heart attack from stress, if all zombies were virals.. jeez, I get a sweat just thinking about it hah Yep, they can get my heart racing like very few other games. First time I ran into one I was like "what's all that racket?", and then "wow, that one can really run, good thing I'm up here..." and finally, "holy ****, she can climb?" Pretty great. And I'm not even into zombie games, heh. Well, I haven't played either Gothic or Risen so that tells me very little. With all the praise from peeps here I'll be sure to check it out... when the obligatory GOTY edition drops. Parana Bytes hasn't made an expansion or any kind of DLC since Gothic 3 (2006). I highly doubt there will be a GOTY edition, but I wouldn't blame a newcomer to the Parana Bytes' particular brand of Eurojank for waiting for a sale.

That only leads to him handing you out things that prove you already had what you thought you didn't have and needed all along. Then he jumps into a hot air balloon and departs, accidentally. This why you should never trust a floating head. The only one that's ever been descent is Zordon. -
Good bomb or bad bomb ? Within the first 30 minutes I was thrown down a cliff, robbed, and punched out. They're going for some strong Gothic vibes. So far I'm really enjoying it.

^I know jack about Black Panther, but that poster has 70's sci-fi written all over it. Valerian style. Just from the poster, it looks more interesting than anything MCU has put out to date. -
Finished POD playthrough of Pillars last night. Playing Elex today. So far it feels like Parana Bytes is back. Don't know if it's Gothic 2 good, but it has thus far been a huge improvement over the Risen series.

I've lived out in the country (in the States) my whole life and the closest thing I've ever had to this is a bird pooping on my shoulder. -
There are no steam workshop mods, but there are mods on nexusmods. I would highly recommend the extended potion duration mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher2/mods/5/?tab=1&navtag=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fwitcher2%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D5%26preview%3D&pUp=1 (There might be a better version-- ie, more customizable--of this mod somewhere on nexus.) Important note: due to the way modding in Witcher 2 works, you can't have more than one major mod installed at one time. There are mod compilations for people who what multiple mods at one time, however.

In less than a year it went to Origin Access. -_-'

I like my Dawns . . . Grim (and explody). Having fun with the new Inquisitor class (has a duel wielding talent rather than going half the game waiting for a rare item drop that can give you the ability).
