While both Cold Steel and Sky play off of anime tropes (usually by subverting them in clever ways), I like the Sky series more because it uses 90's anime trope rather than the more modern ones of Cold Steel. If tropy-ness is a mental hurdle for you (as it sometimes is for me with jrpgs), I would suggest playing Sky first.

After finishing Cold Steel I've still got the Trails bug so now I'm replaying Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky. For anybody who likes jrpgs, the Trails series are awesome. They are literally the Marvel Cinematic Universe of video games.

Just finished Trails of Cold Steel 1 on PC. It ends on a cliffhanger and the second game's port shouldn't be out until early 2018. I'm working hard to resist the urge to read spoilers.

Speaking of squid-bunnies, apparently there's a demon squid-bunny in Trails of Cold Steel. Now, I'm usually not one to stand in the way of love, but when I barge uninvited into your house and you two are acting all doe eyed I've got to put my foot down. There's a school festival. One of the girls has a fortune telling booth and she's largely been handing out life advice instead of fortunes, but the jig might be up. Prince Olivert is played by Mathew Mercer, so I gave my consent. I do love it when a video game is self aware. (By the way, this was an NPC, not a character I control . . . honest) Check out my new duds. Yes it is and yes we are, Crow I swear Mathew Mercer gets some of the best lines.

I'm talking about POE1 monk being OP.

I asked if there was an unarmed modal in their live stream beta announcement and the answer I got was that monks bare fists are already OP so they don't have any plans to add one. I can't blame them because in my last playthrough as a monk I was one shotting mobs on PotD by the end of the game. That said, if you want to punch dragons to death (as is my preference ) you have to play as a monk.

I'm close (about 20 hours or so out of a 100 hour game) to finish Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel. I just bought Bionic Battle Mutants but I've only gone through the tutorial so far (stylistically, this game looks great). Pretty sure I'm almost finished with my first ago around with POE2 beta. And some Skyrim on the switch.

Chiefs always look good against bad or mediocre talent, but don't really have the horses to run with the more athletic teams. As much as I admire Alex Smith and the way he's turned around his NFL career, he's the primary cause of this.

(Highlighted) After combat with the golem thing, my player character (transcendent) kept punching the air. (I call it the shadowboxing bug.)
