  1. Sure it can. What would a teenager do: Buy 700-800$ worth of PC upgrades(that's what I need and I can't be the only one) or buy a 360 and ME for 500$?
  2. I never watched these shows before but I recently noticed Jewel Staite is on Atlantis so I may start watching now...
  3. If this is true then it's probably more like: Brad Renfro, Heath Ledger, Roy Scheider. So thats it people. No more deaths this year woohoo!
  4. Puzzle Quest and NFSMW
  5. That's really sad. RIP.
  6. Fool's Gold Not as bad as believed it would be. Very funny in some places but chemistry between the two main characters is practically non-existant. It has some great secondary characters though, including Ray Winstone which I'm really starting to like a lot. Donald Sutherland is completely wasted and looks bored out of his mind in a little sub-plot with his daugther that just seemed kinda creepy... The treasure hunt is actually pretty good in this film, they have maps and old stuff with boats and scuba gear etc. Reminded me of Romancing the Stone a bit. It's a fun film. 7/10
  7. Yeah, that was pretty wild. Was the symbol on the collar that of a specific station or the symbol for the company? looked like Hydra.
  8. Well, there seems to have been 2 flights of the same name. One, the one we know and "love" is on the island, off the coast of Bali(Indonesia, 30-45 minutes flight from northern Australia) and the other is in the ocean, presumably in the bermuda triangle. Right? Right. And what's the deal with introducing a bunch of new characters? D'OH!
  9. Is this a movie annoucement or are you watching the seasons on DVD?
  10. I never sold anything on eBay but I've baught a few items. User feedback is essential so as not to get screwed. When a seller has a lot of positive feedback on thousands of items, a buyer can hardly go wrong. I feel this idea is crap. Sellers need to know who they're dealing with on eBay. It's not like a store where a credit card number can be traced and criminals are found relatively easy. This has the potential to kill eBay and online shopping, or perhaps it is a first step for governments and credit companies to gain more control of the internets?
  11. I hate you. I wish I had a work shop so I could create all sorts of sweet stuff like couches and chairs and giant wooden animals. :'( Actually, I work in a factory, part of a chain. I do what I'm told and I have very little, if any, creative input. Creativity comes from the marketing guy... I don't even "work with my hands", stuck on a chair all day in front of a computer screen. There is nothing fun or gratifying about it. But it does pay *most* of the bills so.
  12. Cloverfield As some have said, I didn't get too attached to the characters either so I more or less cared about what was happening to them. As a fake-home-movie film though I thought it was very well done. Better than Blair Witch, although Clover is less about horror and more about suspense which would've been so much better if the characters were more fleshed out. I wished we knew more of the creature. 8/10
  13. Yes but still, the Triangle is East-South East of Florida. Fiji is East-North East of Australia and therefore the plane would have to fly across South America to reach the Triangle. That's what... a 20 hour flight?
  14. Today I finished developping an arm for a living room home theater chair. Monday it's the seat and back and from all those I'll be able to build couches, loveseats, ooh lala. In one hour I'll get my car out of the snow bank in the parking lot and make my way home through another snowstorm. Should take me about 90 minutes. I hate winter in Montreal.
  15. ??? Isn't the Island near Australia? That's nowhere near the triangle?!
  16. Mckellen has said many times that he would absolutely LOVE to head back for Middle Earth, like much of cast for that matter. He even had a project in the works for a television series of The Hobbit starring him as Gandalf. Unless some time or contract issues arise, which I think they would(and should) just wait until he's ready, he's very much into it.
  17. Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit's CRAZY THEORY TIME! I believe that Ben's quote in the preview has a strong meaning: "Every single living person on this island will die" I.E. some are dead already but still walking around. It's a GHOST ISLAND! The dog did it! Ben will take his shoes off only to reveal that he has 4 toes...
  18. Obsidian is third on my list. I failed to mention it because it seemed too obvious. If it's not first, or second, it's gotta be third, right? Right? Right.
  19. I'm very excited about this game. I loved ALL Elder scrolls games and I really like Bethesda as a developper. Second only to Bioware in my book(where RPGs are concerned). I'm sorry to say this here but Oblivion with guns sounds good to me. I have a strong bias towards FP games, I feel more immersed, it's a personal thing. Also, I've always wanted Fallout to be First Person so... there you go. Sure it won't be turn-based combat and they seemed to have updated some conceptual designs, so what? Isn't it to be expected? Or do you want Fallout exactly the way it was, same story, same everything but in 3D? Besides, I don't think we can expect a game like, say, DOOM in the Fallout setting. It won't be so fast. Oblivion was slow and this will be too. It will be deep, beautiful RPG goodness. I need a new computer!
  20. Has anyone seen RAMBO yet?
  21. No, no she wasn't paid for it. You're mixing up your negative female descriptors.
  22. In Quebec(and probably the rest of Canada) the native North Americans don't pay taxes at all. For food, cars, hotels, clothes, everythng. They just show a card and all is tax free. Many even get a free house. This is better than a scholarship methinks. I tried getting those benefits a long time ago and then I learned that my grandfather(who was of native descent) wasn't my grandfather(biological) because my mother(his daughter) was conceived because my grandmother was, apparently, a bit of a **** and had a little thing with the local priest in the '40s. Wow. Slu7 is a bad word???
  23. Apparently the pill bottles they found that made the investigators(or was it the press?) think that he may have died of an overdose were almost full, barely touched. More and more I think it was a bad prescription, pills that were too "powerfull" for him. If the autopsy was inconclusive doesn't it mean that no drugs or barely enough to cause this were found in his system? And how come like... 90% of the time celebrity deaths are always mysterious. How come they can almost never find out the cause of death? Weird.
