  1. I think it's not fair to compare lego star wars to a game such as kotor 1 and 2. Lego star wars was a fun and refreshing game.It was better than all the games lucasarts published exception of the kotor's serie. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And X-Wing, and Tie Fighter and the Dark Forces series and Monkey Island and Grim Fandango and Rebel Assault and etc. But Lego Star Wars is the best PT-based Star Wars game.
  2. I give an A for effort Phoenix but wrong thread. Like movies, the first is usually the best. My fav is X-Wing.
  3. NHL

Especially since there's one game left.
  4. And yet you said "The games simply sucked!!!" Confused are you? Doom the movie was not very good, I agree. Except for that FPS part which was awesome.
  5. I have no shame in saying I play Lego Star Wars on my PS2 on a regular basis. It's a great game and LSW2 will be even better.
  6. They make movies out of videogames because they believe the fan base is large enough for them to make money out of those films. I would really like to know why you find Doom and Final Fantasy games sucky. Please elaborate.
  7. Dungeon Siege 2. I like it better then the first but it's still a mindless hack & slash Diablo clone. Not enough gore. Also still hooked on HoMM 5 but I<m stuck on The Trap. For some reason I keep running out of troops when I get to the city. It's those damn gremlins in the upper right corner of the map that thin my numbers.
  8. Only because it's PT. Lego2 will rock.
  9. I won't give you **** because I agree with you. For K1, the big plot twist didn't even surprise me. I thought the idea was clever but the implementation was sloppy. I thought Bastila's turning was more gripping, although I expected it as well. The story is basically "Find the map pieces that will reveal the location of the great threat to the universe, infiltrate and kill the source of the evil". That and then the filler parts which are very could and make the game worth playing. K2's story was more epic but the game needed to last longer in order to flesh out all the complicated parts. K2 had a lot more potential than K1 IMO but the game was rushed and lost a lot of appeal for it. That said, I wouldn't be surprise if Uwe would try to make a KotOR movie but I doubt GL would allow it.
  10. By the way, I secured my saves now. Thanks guys. There's a BSG mod? (w00t)
  11. CARS: The only thing that bugged me at first was the absence of drivers/humans and I couldn't help but think "how'd they built cities without hands?" but once you get past that it's very decent. The movie is in large part about the consequences of progress on "the good ol' days" and how the younglings today are so consumed by popularity/wealth that they often forget about the important things in life, like real friends. There are some very funny moments but it's mostly just amusing and there are some slow parts. I didn't find it as tear-inducing as Nemo or Toy Story but there is a decent nostalgia factor. The animation is truly superb and I think they made a breakthrough with artificial lighting. There is one particular shot it looks like a weird live-action thing because everything seems real but the car is talking. I was mesmerized. It's also a "guy" movie, especially those who like and/or know about cars and famous drivers. I prefered The Incredibles, Nemo, Shreck and Toy Story but I thought it was better than Monsters Inc, Over the Hedge and Ice Age. I didn't read any reviews yet so mine is unbiased. I give it 8/10. I hope this helps.
  12. The only good PT based game is Lego Star Wars.
  13. No they won't.
  14. K3 should involve some space travelling and maybe even aliens I know aliens don't exist but in Star Wars there should be aliens as Star Wars is strange and fantastic and I think it should have aliens in space driving some sort of vehicle in space that would be sooo cool.
  15. KotOR games mention Exar Kun quite a few times. The games even portray Marka Ragnos quite well and this particular Sith Lord also appeared in Jedi Academy. I know I knew of Exar Kun before playing KotOR but not to much. Your poll will hopefully not be posted here as this is a website largely dedicated to the KotOR games and the poll's subjectivity would likely suffer. "

  17. No. He was refering to the pre-clone wars era. The dark times began with Darth Sidious taking power as Emperor. But he also didn't remember R2 so maybe quoting him is a mistake. :D
  18. If only I wasn't married...
  19. Well I guess thats it then. Millions of years of evolution, wars, plagues, murders and the human race will be taken out by pillows. I warned you all. Did you listen? Of course not!
  20. Try the 60s. 1966 to 1969 to be exact. The prequel trilogy sucked mostly because it was not written by a writer/director but by a producer. The PT was made to promote technologies, not dreams and/or the art of storytelling through cinema. The PT would have been 100x better if the Fat-Necked Mogul would go through the same actor selection process as the one he exercices when choosing between 10 little plastic monsters which one will end up in the background of a bar. If the Fat-Necked Mogul would direct his actors like he directs little monsters on a computer screen we would never had to endure to now notorious "NOOOO!". Georges Lucas is a bad director and he writes like a acne-ridden pre-teen little boy because he listens to his daughters to much. Period.
  21. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Yoda.
