  1. You're a doctor. Figure it out.
  2. Thanks for the smiles(no laughs, you guys suck at comedy ) and the few words of advice guys. I wanted to say that before this thread is closed for derailment.
  3. Really? Can you help me with my lymph nodes?
  4. Because I'm at work and if I leave my post they will find another sheep to replace me.
  5. You mean me or Feng?
  6. I really need to get a refund on this detector. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe you could exchange it for a lymph node detector and come over here to check me out?
  7. So will you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One can only hope. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I meant "eventually" and I was hoping for the *zing* that never came.
  8. So will you.
  9. Thanks LadyC. That doesn't sound too bad. And from the usual reactions to my posts I guess I could use another head.
  10. Smells like lymph nodes. They can enlarge in response to, for example, a cold - or whatever other infection. Are you feeling ill? Fever? Seizures? Coma? Death? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had what felt like a dry, sore throat 2 weeks ago. But the pain was on the right side of my throat, below the lower jaw, aligned with the right ear where a first lump was detected and is still there. It was painful when swallowing. I didn't feel sick or feverish otherwise. I don't think I've ever had any seizures but I do have spasms when I sleep. @Taks: 25C is fine during the day but at night, with the humidity, it was warm enough to keep me from sleeping properly. I sleep best when between 10 and 15 degrees C. And don't forget, we're not used to great heats here in the north.
  11. Hello, I'm looking for reassurance here, I will go see a doctor. This morning I woke up after a long, steamy night. It was about 25 degrees celcius and I didn't sleep very well, tossing and turning. I also had a massive headache that went away almost as soon as I got out of bed. Oh yeah, I'm diabetic. While doing my usual morning scratches I discovered 3-4 lumps on the right side of my neck, about 1/8 of an inch in diameter each, one of them is between the shoulder bone and the thick muscle on top of the shoulder and that one is about 1/4 of an inch and slightly painful from the poking and massaging. My wife told me they were knots because of the bad night and my job, which forces me to sit at a desk all day, barely moving my right arm for the mouse(I do CAD work). There is no pain aside from the pokings and they are below the skin, slightly squishy. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Has anyone ever had this? The internet searches moslty talk about throat lumps and cancers and I haven't found anything seemingly related to what I have. Anyway I'm somewhat scared and needed to share. Advice is welcome.
  12. I thought it was now forbidden to make references to Onur.
  13. Maybe I could enter the US illegally! They're so busy closing the Mexican border, I'm pretty sure they would never expect a short fat Canadian to make a run for their military. (w00t)
  14. Really? (w00t) Is it possible for a 31 year old diabetic man with a healthy reproductive system to join the military? In Canada?
  15. Why was it a mistake? You don't like shopping?
  16. This here is what could be called a "fantasy" thread, where posters dream of what may come and how they would like it to be. It's only for fun and as a warning, trolling will lead you nowhere. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What are you talking about, astr0creep?... Trolling? Maybe you should scan over the thread again and rethink that statement. I was merely responding to Xard's pessimistic fortune telling. Thanks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The "warning" was because it seemed to me this was heading for a trolling. If not, I apologize.

  18. Pixies is right, you don't have do have anything done if you can't or don't want to. However I'd get the deep clean done. Wisdom teeth will come out normally for most people but when they start to hurt, which is normal(ask teething babies...), dentists try to convince you to have them removed, their reason is because they are difficult to clean properly with a toothbrush and they may eventually rot. The real reason of course is that each wisdom tooth costs a nice little 300-400$(Can) to be removed. I have 3 wisdom teeth out and one is halfway out. It hurts about once every few months for a few days, which is solved with a Tylenol(or Aspirin or whatever) and I'm doing fine.
  19. How do you know? OMG! YOU did it Alan!
  20. Familiarity with the source material should not be required to enjoy a good movie(the only flaw of Serenity IMHO). It's only a bonus for those who possess such knowledge.
  21. Canada doesn't really have a military. We rely on our good looks and charming personality to convince our enemies it is useless to attack us and our allies to let us borrow their military ressources when rarely needed. Canada has a fantastic intelligence agency apparently. They're so good nobody knows about it. "Canada" is the native word for "Pu55y".
  22. I liked it too but it felt like something was missing. Not enough flight scenes maybe? The casting was strange also.
  23. Great site. I'm very surprised there is no AC/DC in there.
