Don't stop there: let's have a hurdle for ALL prospective parents, before anyone can have children. ^_^ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We were talking about adoption, not what is considered "normal" conception. There is a qualification process for adopting a child. A process that costs about 30000$US for a 3 month old Korean boy.

When he is out of time, he simply buys more. :D

Not while she was pregnant. And if she would've been unable to, that is when your father should've been forced to help. When both parents cannot support a child, financially, without losing there lives in 3-4 jobs and sleep depravation, That is when the government needs to help.
-
But you don't know that. That's the problem. That's why not every hetero couple is allowed to adopt. It's not about abuse, either. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know the exact statistical number, no. Do you? And not every Homo couple should either. The point is Homo and Hetero couples should be submitted to the same qualification criterias/process, regardless of sexual orientation. The abuse part was an example. Prejudice would be another.

I would go as far as saying: "As long as it doesn't make the child a punishment for lack of responsibility, then yes". Like:"You didn't use protection, you are pregnant, you must give birth!" or something similar. Also, if the income of the new familly is not enough to properly support a child, then either the government helps or the man, who will be the only source of income, has a right to force the abortion or not pay child support if the woman decides to have the child anyway. No?

I think our brain is biologically bisexual. Culture and religion forced heterosexuality with marriage when it was time to colonize new continents. Before these periods everybody was openly bisexual and one could fall in love with either a man or a woman. Only my humble observation.

Nope, and with luck I never will but if I mess up then I will pay the bounty. Its about taking responsibility. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly. So if you have the responsibility to raise children, in the event of having them, shouldn't you, as the father, have some right in the decision to keep them or not? If you are in a situation where abortion is an issue, like an accident, the responsibility is basically forced on both parents, no? In the case of a rape however, it should be the decision of the mother entirely, wether it's from a stranger or her own husband/spouse. By the way, I am pro-choice. As in, abortion needs to be legal for those who need it. However there needs to be restrictions for those who want it. Because we are talking about a life, not some thing you can just throw out in the garbage. As for child support, I think it is absolutely normal and crucial that the father supports his children. However, if the court decides that he cannot see his kids, ever, he shouldn't have to pay it as this means the mother is able to take care of them herself. If not, nobody should expect or even ask that the father pay child support and not see his kids, unless he was abusive or bad for them. There are alot of abuses of the system from the mothers and the entire child support/custody system needs a major revision IMHO.

I voted Live and let Live. This issue is getting very old. The fact of the matter is that every familly is different and having laws and regulations to control such private matters will always make trouble for a lot of people. Another fact is that a child has the same chance of being messed up from a Homo familly as he/she does from a Hetero familly. How many Hetero parents abuse their children? Third, we are in somewhat of a transition period. I'm pretty sure if we let things go, having Homo parents will be just as socially normal as having Hetero parents. Marriage is a luxury. There is a wedding industry, a very big one and a very useless one. It's like buying a big screen TV. It's nice to be able to have one but you don't really need it. I think that if you are a couple living together, you should have the same rights, privileges and obligations as all the other couples, wether you are Homo, Hetero, married, civil unioned or just under the same dwelling for at least one complete fiscal year. Period.

You've never had to pay child support for the rest of your life... " As for Ann Coulter, I've heard the name before but thats it. Watching this clip I found it disturbing that she is allowed air time so I have to agree with Wally. It's a ratings thing. Her jaw seems to not be fully articulated but she's kind of pretty, in a superficial kind of way. :D

This was gruesome. Like Saw only for real.

In the United States, I think the Xbox360 is selling for $400, with a strong possibility of it dropping in price right before the ps3 comes out. The difference in price could be as much as $300, which is a significant drop in price in my book. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The problem is that the rest of the world isn't in the states. That price drop is quite steep and I'm sure it could very well turn the tide in favor of M$. However, if it blows up in my face it's still 300$(500$CAN?) down the toilet. I'd still rather put XBox360 savings on a good PC upgrade. I can't save 600$ for PS3. I have a car and appartment. Saving 250$ however is quite reasonable. And the Wii is fully BC.
-
There was time when S3 was somewhat rare and I managed to get my hands on a copy. I paid about 80CAN$ for it which is 20$ more than the usual retail price. I was quite bummed by the boredom it induced. So I'm reluctant to try another one.

XBox360=500$ PS3=650$ Wow! 150$ difference! And that doesn't include games! ReWow! Getting an XBox when you have a decent PC is somewhat... ok I'll say "strange" for the sake of political correctness. If your PC is not decent you can make it so with 500$. For me: 360 is a waste of money and some "blow up". PS3 is too expensive and since E3 it's been going downhill. Right now all that the Wii has to run on is Nintendo's reputation which has always been excellent. There is no denying that. Those reasons alone are enough to make me go for a Wii. And in 5 years I expect to have a couple of kids running around so the kiddy part is ok with me.

You really should refrain yourself from using those exact words on a nerd board full of horny teenage guys, especially if you're not one yourself <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I actually didn't jump to that conclusion, or take the words out of context...does that mean I'm finally getting old? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was about to PM her for a date when I suddenly realized she is married and so am I. :">

Wii has taken the lead for me. Last Nintendo console I owned was the NES. Wii is the cheapest of the 3, the inovation is appealing to me and it's fully backward compatible with all of Nintendo's games... to date. As of now, I'm buying a Wii.
