no, not at all. your thought starts out by assuming only homosexuals have "the gene". how then, were they born in the first place? in other words, if it is a gene problem (mutation, whatever), it obviously exists in heterosexuals recessively, and appears without homosexuals needing to reproduce. i'm not saying it is a result of a gene, btw. the fact that homosexuality does show up in the animal kingdom from time to time suggests that genes may at least be a factor, however. taks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Animals have sex at a very primal level. My aunt watched me til I was 3 then I went to a day care that my mom paid for til I was 8 then I took care of myself. One thing my mother taught me was self reliance. In cases where overworking is in progress, the government should intervene and help so that the parents can stop this and spend more time with their kids. Sorry if that wasn't clear. By the way, there are single fathers who struggle as much raising their children as women do. The difference is that they rarely get child support from their ex-wife/spouse.

There is a qualification process for adopting a child. A process that costs about 30000$US for a 3 month old Korean boy.

Not while she was pregnant. And if she would've been unable to, that is when your father should've been forced to help. When both parents cannot support a child, financially, without losing there lives in 3-4 jobs and sleep depravation, That is when the government needs to help.
