  1. I wish they add the option to hide helmet.
  2. A system that comprises of Per rest, Per encounter and Mana would actually be interesting. Actually Cipher's focus work like Mana. It's just that Mana.. ahem Focus is gained when you deal physical damage in PoE.
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I can't believe Obsidian track history of buggy games carried over to PoE. This is really a shame. Next game i won't be buying the game on Day1 anymore. Shame on Obsidian.
  4. Hi. When i expose Thaos the quest turned to Subdue Uscgrim. What i get was all constructs turned hostile but the NPCs in the sanitarium acts like nothing happened. Once i killed all hostile constructs and go upstairs everyone turned hostile and i'm forced to kill everyone. I'm getting VERY BAD reputation for killing the hostile. Am i doing something wrong? My saved games already overwritten. Is this supposed to happened? Don't tell me another freaking Obsidian bug that they left out? This is really annoying as i'm getting very bad reputation for killing hostiles.
  5. Why a separate thread when there's already one? I've read rpgcodex review on PoE and sadly i have to agree with them.
  6. I'm not quite interested in Bioware products anymore. Each new releases became more watered-down, simplified, gimped and actioney just for the awesome mashing crowd. Sure the graphics and the exploration of the world are huge but that's the only thing it has, sadly.
  7. I do as i'm in love with the combat of this game. But the main problem is the AI is really dumb and same strategy can be applied over and over again with no challenge. It's really boring.
  8. Sadly to say i completely agree with this review. The AI in this game is really disappointing. I don't think ANY patch can fix the combat anymore. Perhaps maybe PoE2.
  9. I'm wondering why PoE made so much simpler compared to BG2. Is kind of like planned for the casuals. You know what i mean.
  10. Kind of sad.. this game is really awesome but the combat is too easy. I wished Obsidian can do something about it but i don't think a simple patch can fix 90% of the combat in this game.

  12. 6 party = True PC game. Games with 4 party mostly for multi-platform, watered-down and gimped experience.
  13. It's part 2 already? That's great. I really HOPE Obsidian can notice this thread. I'm kinda struggling on moving on because Hard is really too easy. Playing another difficulty with same AI but increased stats doesn't make the game harder. It needs smarter enemy AI and a good mixture of different enemy tactics and making it RANDOM. Let's say that this group of encounter has 5 different sets of tactics and when you meet them you will not know which tactics the will use. So players have to adapt and be more prepared before approaching this group of enemy, for example.
  14. Is there an option to turn off helmet? My characters look very ugly with it. On game screen and inventory screen. Is there an option to hide the helmet? Because i can't find one. I'm not wearing helmets because they are pretty ugly. Thanks

  16. I kind of agree.. i'm struggling to finish it now. Game is too easy. Hard is actually Easy. Dang.
  17. I'm not a big fan of DnD and i found their rule isn't really suited for a CRPG. I like Obsidian came out with their own ruleset. Really.
  18. Sorry i dislike DnD as i think the rule does not suit CRPG. I like how Obsidian came out with their own ruleset now. It's not perfect and i see they can still refine and enhance it in many aspects in PoE2.
  19. My Cipher PC is good enough where i don't need 2 Ciphers. I ditched GM away for Pallegina. Loving her quite abit with her Revive ability and +6Accuracy. Apart from that, she's kinda meh as same category as Ranger.
  20. Also i kind of missed the fire arrows, frost arrows, arrows of detonation :D. I think giving this back to Ranger it may be actually useful.

  22. You're.. semi-right. There are hand-placed items, and all truly unique items are pre-placed. And a lot of other stuff is semi-randomized to be of relatively the same quality, as I have come to understand it. But it is possible to go through an entire game without getting one of those really good items that aren't technically unique, but so good that they might as well be - the gloves that gives +2 Mechanics comes to mind. Do want. And yeah, there's an inordinate amount of high-quality stuff to be had at completely random stores. It's.. kinda weird, really. Some blacksmit in Gilded Vale, the first town you hit, has what in the setting must be considered extremely valuable, exceedingly, exceedingly rare? Why is this guy even living here? He should just buy himself a mansion, I pretty much just gave him a king's ransom. The skills are abit meh to me. The only thing i pick are Lore and Mechanics. Only 1 person in the team require Mechanics would do.
  23. I see. Thanks. Kinda disappointing though. Back then you'll need a skill/talent upgrade for not having penalty on point blank. I have been switching to dual wield on point blank though with my Cipher. Kind of being a habit due to old games.
