What was that? I chose the stag form for my druid tank - since I never ever used it... Cat form would be very nice for a Spiritshift damage dealer - if the duration was longer. When Outlander's Frenzy becomes 1/encounter in 3.0 it would also be a nice talent for spiritshifted druids, esp. cats. They dish out lots of damage and have a high base speed. with +25% and more MIG they will even do more damage.

No, they are really tough. They are casters with powerful spells, they have very high ACC, 10 DR and tons of endurance. If you can't disable them at the beginning of the fight or give them a "sacrifice" like a summon and then kill them quickly you will experience a tough fight. They also like to snipe your squishies with Stag's Horn.

Hehehe. There are some other bugs that are more like features I would like to keep. -
You can dump INT alltogether on a paladin and he can still be viable. But then you have to limit yourself to abilities that don't rely too much on AoE and durations. There are exactly 7: Coordinated Attacks, Sworn Enemy, Reviving Exhortation, Flames of Devotion, Righteous Soul and Healing Chain. With those your low INT doesn't matter at all (or not too much). You can still take Lay on Hands which is helpful even with dumped INT. The focus auras also work, but as a self buff only. With maxed MIG and good DEX and PER plus the right abilities and talents you can have decent DPS while still having very good defenses - without the need to take one of the defensive talents. You can focus entirely on the offensive stuff. With Sanguine Plate (Frenzy) and the Blade of the Endless Paths (has Marking, together with Coordinated Attacks you will buff your fellow frontliner with +20 ACC passively) you will be a sturdy and dangerous frontliner who also improves his companions' performance. But it feels more like playing a fighter than a paladin.

It sometimes happens to me as well. Same with Zealous Charge and Quick Switch: At the beginning of the fight I do a shot, and while Zealous Charge has not yet been activated, I can't do anything but walk. But the attemt to attack seems to block the activation of Zealous Charge - it's like a doom loop. Also happens when I want to use scrolls after weapon switch.

I also have the strong feeling that paladins make every playthrough a lot easier. Had two in my last finished playthrough and they were really great. I would also say two of them in a party are even better than only one. Sacred Immolation alone synergizes well with itself: While you get raw damage from your own Immolation, the Immolation of your buddy heals you at the same time. :D
-
Hahaha - right! But only the bravest would fire at you in the first place - because all others would have to avert their eyes.
-
Just in comparison to a tank paladin. Well - if maxed out for FoD shots and Sacred Immolation he is a DPS monster. But only at lvl 13 which is really late. But I really like the combo of burst damage and defense. Sometimes you really need that one foe to go down and a paladin with quick switch and more than +100% burn damage alone on his arquebus does that job really great even before lvl 13.

Yes, it's really nice. I always thought "this shield is pretty useless" until it reflected some spells and I realized that "ranged" didn't mean arrows and bullets alone, but also targeted spells. Reflection also works with Badgradr's Barricade (+durgan steel) and The Golden Scales. In this case it's a 30% chance of all ranged attacks that get reflected.

It's a bug that was "introduced" in 2.03. If you press the tab key the hidden containers will be slightly highlighted in pink although they shouldn't. It's a confirmed bug and will be fixed. -
I also think these are good stats for a paladin. Your defenses will be balanced, that's good. If you take Weapon & Shield Style your reflex will be a bit higher than the rest. If you want to use Zealous Focus you could afford to lower PER to 10 and put 4 points them into CON and/or MIG. Then you will have perfectly balanced defenses. But that's just cosmetic changes I'd say.

No, melee ranger build: Riptide & The Pit Fright I'm doing a playthrough with 6 of my "special" builds I posted here in this forum - just to make sure they also work well together. - Dull Runner - The Backlash Beldam - Fulmineo Prondroni - Riptide & The Pit Fright - Mad Hornet - Zeblastian Hurtstacker So far (lvl 4) it's quite easy.

Why wouldn't you sell unique items that you don't need? First of all too many items in the stash slow down the sorting a lot. Then it's a little bit odd (speaking about roleplaying) that you carry hundrets of items with you which you don't need/use. You could place them in your treasury if they are kind of trophies for you. -
They will get wounds from Dangerous Implement. But most of the monk's abilities only work in melee combat: Force of Anguish, Torment's Reach and so on. Swift Strikes works as far as I remember and of course Turning Wheel. But I don't see where the CC comes from. Or will you switch weapon set then? If you just want to get wounds quickly at the start of the fight: just shoot your monk in the back.

No, you can get a pair in Russetwood - where the landslide is. It's in the northeast I think (dead body, only legs visible). And they are also random loot in several chests all over the Dyrwood. I remember finding them in the Temple of Skaen (Dyrford Village) and in the Endless Paths (behind the wall that only opens when you siphon knowlegde from Maerwald's soul).

No. Just walk into the expedition hall and kill the guy who runs that place - he stands in the center of the hall. Forgot the name. Wenan? Maybe you should first solve Osric's quest before you do that. You can get the Family Breastplate from Osric, too (talking to him or killing him after you return from Dunryd Row/Penhelm)
