  1. Yes, it's really nice. I always thought "this shield is pretty useless" until it reflected some spells and I realized that "ranged" didn't mean arrows and bullets alone, but also targeted spells. Reflection also works with Badgradr's Barricade (+durgan steel) and The Golden Scales. In this case it's a 30% chance of all ranged attacks that get reflected.
  2. Perhaps I should introduce you to my best friend, the console?
  3. Seriously AndreaColombo, what's wrong with you? No Iconic Projection and no Repulsing Seal? You're doing it wrong! Lol Rogues are best class by the way lol op godmode lol
  4. It's a bug that was "introduced" in 2.03. If you press the tab key the hidden containers will be slightly highlighted in pink although they shouldn't. It's a confirmed bug and will be fixed.
  5. I also think these are good stats for a paladin. Your defenses will be balanced, that's good. If you take Weapon & Shield Style your reflex will be a bit higher than the rest. If you want to use Zealous Focus you could afford to lower PER to 10 and put 4 points them into CON and/or MIG. Then you will have perfectly balanced defenses. But that's just cosmetic changes I'd say.
  6. No, melee ranger build: Riptide & The Pit Fright I'm doing a playthrough with 6 of my "special" builds I posted here in this forum - just to make sure they also work well together. - Dull Runner - The Backlash Beldam - Fulmineo Prondroni - Riptide & The Pit Fright - Mad Hornet - Zeblastian Hurtstacker So far (lvl 4) it's quite easy.
  7. Why wouldn't you sell unique items that you don't need? First of all too many items in the stash slow down the sorting a lot. Then it's a little bit odd (speaking about roleplaying) that you carry hundrets of items with you which you don't need/use. You could place them in your treasury if they are kind of trophies for you.
  8. I got it yesterday at lvl 4. Ogre Druids are just a colossal cheek. I use it with my rogue though. Looking forward to get Tidefall for my ranger. Need 2 more mechanics first... Edit: roflmao - I totally forgot this is a solo thread. Level 7 is impressive then. Because of Ogre Druids and stuff.
  9. They will get wounds from Dangerous Implement. But most of the monk's abilities only work in melee combat: Force of Anguish, Torment's Reach and so on. Swift Strikes works as far as I remember and of course Turning Wheel. But I don't see where the CC comes from. Or will you switch weapon set then? If you just want to get wounds quickly at the start of the fight: just shoot your monk in the back.
  10. No, you can get a pair in Russetwood - where the landslide is. It's in the northeast I think (dead body, only legs visible). And they are also random loot in several chests all over the Dyrwood. I remember finding them in the Temple of Skaen (Dyrford Village) and in the Endless Paths (behind the wall that only opens when you siphon knowlegde from Maerwald's soul).
  11. No. Just walk into the expedition hall and kill the guy who runs that place - he stands in the center of the hall. Forgot the name. Wenan? Maybe you should first solve Osric's quest before you do that. You can get the Family Breastplate from Osric, too (talking to him or killing him after you return from Dunryd Row/Penhelm)
  12. Ye, it's AoE is huge and the dmg is good. Do corpses get kind of consumed if you use that invocation or will they explode over and over again (if you stack this invoc.)?
  13. Cloudpiercer: you can always kill the dozens guy (Basil Expedition or what's his name?) to get it. You don't need to join them.
  14. Very nice - the lightning was fun to watch. *zap-zap-zap* :D
  15. rofl what? With hirelings it all comes down to net points. If somebody has +6/-6 he's worth zero. There are so many hirelings that have +1, +2 or even more net points. You're always better off if you take those. The noblewoman is great for example. You need Prestige so that these guys visit more often so you can hire them. Same with the visitors that you can't hire but who still give you points - Lord Sidroc for example.
  16. What I once tried as a compromise between DPS phrase and invocation speedup was this: Alternating between "Come Sweet Winds" and "The Dragon Slashed" - plus one or two Rings of Searing Flames. You can cast Combusting Wounds on a group and they will suffer from up to 12 DoT effects at best because of linger time (the linger time of Dragon is longer than the whole duration of Come Sweet WInds - so they overlap... like always ). That's 12*5=60 extra burn damage every 3 secs when they overlap and 30 if they don't. Plus you will get your 12 Ogres quicker.
  17. It depends. If you abuse the fighter's self heals a bit and combine that with a very offensive build I think you have the perfect combination of sturdyness and dps. I just did the fight at Magran's Fork with these bandits that stole the crate from the smith. Man, this Outlaw with Recovery and Unbroken really p!sses me off! He is sooo hard to kill if you're of low level. Same with the one bounty in the white march (can't remember the name) east of Durgan's Battery if I recall correctly. This fighter dudess (I think she drops the Forgotten Tear of the Beloved) just refuses to die. My last fighter was very sturdy and did good damage even though he only had a club and a large shield.
  18. A 3 MIG rogue suffers from -21% damage. That's nothing for a rogue. At the same time he gets +50% from Sneak Attack and +100% from Deathblows. With Savage Attack and +5 PER you wouldn't even notice the difference to a 10 MIG rogue. So of course it works. And it's not true that a tankier rogue is inferior to a DPS fighter. You always have to remind yourself that a rogue that kisses the ground does zero damage. A rogue with small shield, high RES and CON, Weapon & Shield Style will not go down easily I once did a tanky rogue with focus on crits with low might and Badgradr's Barricade and he was great.
  19. I said that a lot of times. Even better: Tidefall + Shod-in-Faith + Wolf + Predator's Sense and stuff: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/83435-class-build-riptide-the-pit-fright-dps-offtank-melee-ranger-double-team-supreme/ I had the Persistence-variant and a Stormcaller ranger and they both were on par in terms of DPS. But the best thing was a rogue with Deep Wounds and Persistence and a ranger with Stormcaller. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/83378-class-build-the-mad-hornet-dps-ranged-rogue/ Ranger plus DPS pet absolutely outdamages any rogue by the way - if well played.
  20. I think you could do that. Give 2 chanters this phrase and alternate between Dragon and Courage. There would be a little overlap from linger time but that's OK I think.
  21. Yeah, and then you get the message that he showed up... aaand left while you travelled from A to B. Love that... not!
  22. I also read that you should build the merchant stalls as soon as possible. Don't know if that's right. My experience with him is that you can't rely on anything when it comes to Azurro. One playtrough he shows up like a hundred times, selling me the same stuff over and over again (3x Hiro's Mantle, 2x Rimecutter, 2x Rebel's Call - wtf?) - next playthrough I did the same things with the stronghold and he showed up 5 times. I think the guy is on svef.
