I have a Trumper coworker that has an odd fixation with trans people as well. Always asking really weird questions* like trans people run... well, literally anything or have any kind of power whatsoever. I'm like I've only ever truly known one trans person well and that story was such a tragedy because they ended up overdosing on purpose. I have a hard time caring about some hypothetical situation where Billy wants to become a girl just to steal Sally's trophy or whatever. *they think trans people are somehow impacting my young kid's schooling or the education system just by acknowledging they exist.

I dunno why they're always up in arms over non-issues. Orange for the orange god, outrage for the outrage machine.

The funny thing is they only trust him at his word on the good stuff He's super easy to manipulate too, Eric Adams just kissed his butt a little bit and pardons are already being floated. These companies stay at his properties, the Softbank thing was announced at Mar-a-Lago, and it includes previously announced investments, this isn't a completely new deal because Trump got elected, it's just being repackaged for a narcissist.

Look at his last administration, pretty much all the competent picks have since bashed him. Well, some of the incompetents had a thing or two to say about him as well. It makes sense to just go for loyalty if all you want is people to suck up to you and do exactly what you say... this time around.

We've started watching High Potential. It's a bit like Psych/Monk/Mentalist/Castle. The last couple of episodes have gotten really predictable but I'm still enjoying it.

My wife is closer to the second one. She doesn't just throw it in there but she always loads it like there are no more dishes to load, which there almost always are, because she doesn't start it after loading it. I'm closer to the first because while I like to have things in their place I'm not going to rearrange the dishwasher if it doesn't matter.

I laughed way too hard at that. All I know is that once this war is finally over Ukraine and Russia will go back to being the best of friends just like in all European Wars. No decades or centuries of bad blood and no looking for the slightest excuse to start fighting again. Nope, no sir.
