I'd be interested to hear what you think about it after you have seen enough for an opinion. No need to say anything the NDA forbits, just general feel of it is enough. ESO and Wildstar are the only coming MMO's that I might like. I'm pretty sure I'm not even allowed to say that I got picked for the beta and all the screenshots I took have my email address watermarked all over the background but if anyone is genuinely curious please feel free to drop me a PM

I love Mexican food but most of the stuff we have here in Colorado is more than a little bit different from what we have in southern Arizona. Whenever I go "home" it's always Mexican food every night. I don't have a problem making most of of my favorite Mexican dishes but most Asian foods I find extremely difficult to get the taste and texture right. I usually limit myself to a few curries, simple stir fries, and soups and try to steer clear of more authentic or complicated fare

The devs seem to be favoring TB so I'm pretty sure they will go go turn based unless it's an overwhelming majority (my guess is at least 2/3 and is based on nothing) that votes RTwP which doesn't seem likely at this point

When people ask what I am I always answer American even though I know that's not what they want. That is usually either preceded or followed by them asking where are you from to which I answer Arizona. Going back a ways though... as I said before my maternal grandmother is half black (probably mixed western and/or central African) and half Cherokee and my maternal grandfather was black as well. To Ros' point I don't know much about or associate much with the Native American (more or less) side of the family but they mostly live on reservations in Oklahoma and don't like to travel much. On my dad's side it's a bit easier to trace as my grandpa is of mostly Danish (with a smidge of English) descent and my grandma is Irish Mexican. So that's my ingredients and why it's easier to just say an American from Arizona

Interesting but on these kickstarted games would that be as much of an issue? I mean since voting is limited to backers and they know exactly how many of those there are

Seeing Opportunity In A Question: 'Where Are You Really From?' I always find things like this interesting not because of my own experiences, which have been largely pleasant, but from the stories my biracial (black and Native American) grandmother would tell me about growing up in the 30's and 40's

pfsh I would have bought your vote... for all the Steam games I'm already struggling to give away

I dunno if it'll be any good (they say they're industry vets but don't list what games they worked on before coming together for this company) but the idea is pretty darn intriguing. It does look interesting and since they just announced DRM free I went ahead and backed it The Mandate and Deathfire:SomethingSomething both got a plug from inXile in the latest Torment update so hopefully that gives them the boost they need

I saw Las Vegas over the weekend in preparation for my own old guy trip to Vegas in January I liked it more than I thought I would and laughed way more than I thought I would. Problem is I'm not sure if the move was actually that good or just my low expectations going in made it seem better than it was

Torment's Producer tries his hand at a RPG Kickstarter
ShadySands replied to forgottenlor's topic in Computer and Console
I backed it but at this point I'm pretty sure that is money that won't be leaving my account any time soon -
Got an email for the Elder Scrolls Online beta so that should make for an interesting weekend Until then puttering along in XCOM:New Expansion (on Easy, don't judge me) and wondering if I should buy the Slingshot DLC

I think a few of us maybe learned something new though, I know I did. This is what I meant when I said before in this or some other thread that even though he posts a lot of racist, bigoted, and ignorant stuff it sometimes leads to interesting and educational posts by non troll posters trying to correct and/or educate him
