The Gamersgate version used to be stand alone but a couple patches ago they decided to drop support for it in favor of all Steam everything. Paradox did give Steam keys to everyone who bought the GG version which was nice but Steam sucks for manual version control I think CK2 was their last game that isn't (or wasn't origianlly) a Steam exclusive

I wanted to play some CK2 but Steam decided to ignore my do not update this game setting and broke all the mods I was running Thanks Steam and Paradox, really, thanks

Prison Architect is going for about 10 bucks but I'm not sure I want to be part of early access. I guess I'll just buy it now and let it sit til it's done

Looks like we've settled on a secluded spot in Uvita, Costa Rica, it's not all inclusive but my wife has already fallen in love with it. It's pretty small with only five villas but I'm hopeful it will turn out okay

I made breakfast for my wife. 2 breakfast burritos (sausage, egg, cheese), hash brown, a coffee ... also known as a number 8 (I think) at McDonalds Currently snacking on homemade cracklins I'm not a fan of tripe but I do love me some chittlins but my wife won't let me make them at home so it's a treat reserved for when I go back home

Trying to figure out vacation plans again after cancelling my Punta Cana trip because of my cousin's birthday and my trainer's wedding. My cousin decided to cancel her Vegas birthday bash but the resort in the Dominican Republic where we had previously booked is already sold out for the dates we are looking at. The missus still wants to do a resort but I've been looking at smaller boutique hotels and villas. It's hard trying to find something we both agree on that's still available and that's both adult only and all inclusive so we are starting to drop the all inclusive from requirement to a nice to have Other than that nothing really going on this weekend
