Why do Brits say sport instead of sports and maths instead of math? Is it just us being unique? I never really paid that much attention to it before but I've been hanging around more expats and it sounds odd to my ear and really stands out Other than that just school and work and work and school

I roasted a smallish (skinless and boneless, oh no) pork shoulder (pernil) a couple days ago for about 5 or 6 hours. A little over a week left before my big trip of the year. Tons of little last minute nuisances at work and also trying to finish up the summer term at school. Got a headsup call from my school that my 1 on campus class was only 8 weeks so I wouldn't get the full stipend until that class starts sometime in October. So now I need to either move some classes around or pick up a sixth class which I think would be too much with all the hours I've been putting in the last year or two. We need to finally fill the open spot on our team to reduce the workload. I like working from home but maybe it's time to find another job
