Torment Alpha has started *possible spoilers*
ShadySands replied to Luridis's topic in Computer and Console
Hey, Shady, I can't link directly to their backer page because it's commercial in nature. However, I will link to the game page and it's easy to find their backer information there should you choose to do so. I'm at... Silver or something myself, but I'm also considering throwing more money at them. Mostly because I'm a big sucker, but also because I *do* think the game is looking pretty damned good! https://torment.inxile-entertainment.com/game Thanks, I'm in now -

Is it still possible to get in on the alpha or is that a KS exclusive reward? I'm really curious about the character creation but don't actually want to test anything -

Back home Italy was great. My favorite thing was probably either the grand canal in Venice or the views from Positano and my least favorite thing was all the smokers. The friendliest chimneys I've had the luck to come across. If you go, try the fish and don't forget to tip your waitress. (Everyone I tipped was actually pretty thankful) Off tomorrow then back at it on Wednesday

What do you want to do with it - target shooting, concealed carry, competition shooting, do you want it to be eye candy or do you simply want a general purpose gun? I would enjoy a quality piece that looks good and is fun to clean. Breaking it down, cleaning, reassembly ... very relaxing. More enjoyable than shooting, I don't know why. Oh, I do know why. Because shooting introduces carbon that needs cleaning. Every round ... I'm like, that's gonna need some cleaning. Pretty much this I really enjoy cleaning my guns probably as much as shooting them. I have a concealed carry license but have no intention of actually doing so as I just go to the range every blue moon and keep it unloaded in my office (meaning not accessible if someone ever broke in)

Wait, how exactly does a Zimbabwean lion fall under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service? Smells of a government agency overreaching in order to jump onto a high-publicity case. "Palmer’s actions could have violated the U.S. Lacey Act, a conservation law meant to shield animals from harm. The act, tied to a United Nations treaty for the protection of animals, governs the actions of Americans who violate the laws of foreign governments."

But people do tend to care more about the animals than other people. I remember reading several articles on this and will see if I can dig up links if anyone cares. I believe the order of precedence of ****s given is as follows 1. Human babies 2. Animal babies 3. Adult animals 4. Adult humans 5. Gwyneth Paltrow Also, I personally have no issues with hunting for food either but trophy hunting isn't something I can get behind Yes please try to find them, I have pondered this question and believe that the reason it appears that people care more about animals is that animals are defenseless and are part of the ecosystem and in the case of rhinos there really are a finite number of them. Also we care about rhinos and we care about impoverished people so I see no conflict But I'm interested what is your objection to trophy hunting? I'm wary of anyone who wants to kill something for sport. Food, yes. Population control, yes. Trophies, you lost me. Anyway, links
