  1. I've only seen a few of those movies But I don't like crime/cop/gangster stuff
  2. It's the card mechanic that makes it a hard pass for me. I was into it before that.
  3. Different but not necessarily better, he willing embraced Trumpism and hyped the various GOP fears to get ahead. He's not as spineless as Reek, I mean Ted Cruz, but maybe he just hasn't had the chance to show his ass yet.. or it hasn't been as publicized.
  4. I know that many of my family and friends who are never Trumpers would love the chance to finally vote R again
  5. While I hope Trump would run 3rd party if he doesn't get the nomination, I fear that the Democrats won't show up (especially to contend with vote suppression efforts) if they aren't up against Trump. I don't have anything to base that on other than their general apathy.
  6. I don't really care what Musk does with his new MySpace purchase. I feel bad for all most of the people that lost their jobs but I highly doubt the company will ever be worth anywhere near what he paid for it. Only time will tell if he's making the right moves.
  7. In AZ this week so eating Sonoran Mexican food and some occasional soul food. Had chitlins two ways for dinner the other night, regular and battered and fried.
  8. Not sure about the batteries just yet because the performance doesn't seem like it's worth the cost But now that my wife also wants to go electric with her next car and our energy company is raising prices and implementing a time of use system it's making me want to jump to solar before some rebates and credits expire
  9. I hate seagulls. I got mugged by them at Sea World when I was a kid and I've never moved on.
  10. We still get our ballots mailed to us about 2 weeks ahead of the election and they are the simple bubble paper ballots. Same with the primaries. Then you can either mail them back or drop them off at one of the many conveniently placed drop boxes. I always drop them off because it's close and easy and I'm a millennial so I don't have stamps... except for a strange stamp collection that mysteriously showed up one day and sometimes whispers dark thoughts in my ear as I fall asleep. Crazy stuff like I should mail a letter, hand written, to someone I care about. Wacky.
  11. I actually voted a week ago and definitely not for Colorado Republicans because they're all pretty standard MAGA Republicans. I miss not being overly concerned if my preferred candidate lost. Anyways, I'll continue this in the politics thread if there's anything else.
  12. Homeland Security Admits It Tried to Manufacture Fake Terrorists for Trump A new Homeland Security report details orders to connect protesters arrested in Portland to one another in service of the Trump's imaginary antifa plot.
  13. Let me know how you feel about it when you finish it. I'd be curious if you feel the same way.
  14. I liked it well enough as I thought it was nice that they tried to do a few things different but the problem was that we didn't care for a lot of how they did things differently. Other than that it's about as annoying as many modern shows where the protagonist does the stupid or walks into an obvious trap to move the plot forward. Daredevil was a nice touch.
  15. IIRC, it has a lot to do with what majestic already said but I do believe we once or twice got a dev on here to offer more info. This thread has a couple Obs devs responding
  16. Monday I made my wife lamb chops with veggies and rice for dinner and Tuesday I made carne asada tacos for the family. Today for lunch I made some Korean instant noodles with some left over shredded beef and green onions. Dinner has not yet revealed itself to me.
  17. I thought the 3D was cool in IMAX but the rest of the movie is the mostly super generic and uninteresting
  18. It's actually recommended that you not pitch your ideas here... or at all. Sorry.
  19. It's mostly being pushed by the Republicans as an issue they can win on by providing simple "solutions" to complex issues. https://news.gallup.com/poll/404243/economy-top-election-issue-abortion-crime-next.aspx
  20. Sorry for the double post, I couldn't combine this in an edit for some reason. Yeah, we avoided some obvious leave me alone houses but we tried any that seemed like they could go either way. I also brought a good amount of candy with me in case someone answered the door but didn't have candy and it actually came in handy because my next door neighbors answered but had no candy.
