Baldur's Gate 3 - the 2nd thread
Interplay had some Trek titles that he may have worked on but I was referring the time when Feargus as CEO of Obsidian passed on Star Trek . https://kotaku.com/the-knights-of-new-vegas-5968952

Nah, he'll stay independent as I highly doubt he'd run a 3rd time in his 80s I had a physical a couple of weeks ago and the doctor's office staff straight up said to be careful what you say because if you mention any issues then the medical staff has to note it and it could change whether your insurance will still cover the physical as preventative or classify it as something else that you may have to pay out of pocket for. That's pretty crazy, bad crazy not good crazy.

I don't think the branding made a huge difference in the success of the nuFallouts TBH. I also think it was more due to popular Bethesda gameplay in a different setting, Skyrim Oblivion with guns as it was jokingly put, more or less.

I'm already convinced that Trump is going to win. Too much division in the Democratic ranks and I feel like they're overall less likely to fall in line than the Republicans were. Many of Bernie's policies have broad popular support but even then I don't believe he will be able to get many of them passed but that's not a deal breaker for me because I just want someone who will try to make some of the changes that I feel we need and also put the spotlight on more issues that I care about. I'm not trying to convince anyone else and as I said earlier, I just find the discourse about him disingenuous in a very obvious way that seems to be treated seriously.

Why would she be concerned? Nobody is talking about communism except for people trying to turn the conversation into such. Our system is rife with socialism which is why I find all the new red scare stuff so manufactured. Like we need to line people up and shoot them to get better healthcare and we need to gulag people to get a better social safety net. It's a difficult conversation to have with cold warriors and red scarers. I don't mean to single you out specifically but I'm just frustrated with the level of discourse around this topic, my apologies. To answer your question, she's not fond of communism and she supports Warren and Sanders (she just voted for him today). As someone from Europe, a better safety net and healthcare don't evoke the same knee-jerk reactions.

Talking Hardball. The 2020 Baseball Thread
No doubt as a British Frenchman in a world when baseball stopped being played on Earth 350 years earlier Sidenote - My mother-in-law always plays this Russian song to my son where it sounds like they are saying Buck Bokai, the greatest baseball player in Trek history.

Mayor Pete is out My news feed has barely been anything else besides Sanders hit pieces for the last week or so. Regarding South Carolina, Biden was always supposed to have that state on lockdown. I wouldn't be surprised if the south carries Biden to the nomination and then obviously goes Trump in the general. I wouldn't count Sanders out but in the end I don't think it really matters who loses to Trump.

Weird - Random - Interesting
I've been to Al Asad several times but it was quite a while ago and things may have changed a lot and it like most places I've been in Iraq wasn't fortified against real deal heavy munitions. As was previously mentioned those just weren't the weapons that we were ever supposed to be defending against. IIRC the base did have some heavy duty bunkers being used for various different things but I may be misremembering as Al Taqaddum had them and as I said , it was a while ago.
