I can see them doing that but it seems better to study that in people who aren't constantly risking concussions and CTE unless your point is to study it in banged up brains. My opinion overall is that marijuana should be legal regulated like tobacco and alcohol but I'm also all for studying it further. I know way too many people who think it's some kind of panacea with absolutely no adverse effects.
I doubt anything will change there unless it becomes a large enough issue in both the locker room and in the public to actually push for it
I also liked Bartimaeus idea of injured player's salaries not counting against the cap. I guess I'd be onboard for a potentially reduced salary for those players if that's what it takes but would also like some limits there like a minimum salary
GD - I haven't heard a peep
Not many players get that kind of money though and I'd just recommend shorter contracts for people you're going to give insane amounts of money to. I know the rosters are much larger but the salaries are also much, much lower.
But I'm pro player in general so I am biased on the matter
Yeah, the NFL has the worst contracts of the big three (NFL, NBA, MLB).
I think it's kinda sad since they also have the shortest careers, lowest salaries, and are also the most injury prone of the three on average.
Has anyone here seen Messiah on Netflix? Thinking of adding it to the lineup after The Witcher which is next up once we finish whatever it is that we've been watching.
I can agree with that. I thought the season was really all over the place in terms of pretty much everything but that it is comparitively strong against Disney's other offerings. It also ended on a much better note than it began and especially better than it middled.
I think Elon Musk said something similar to what Grom wrote. I think it was when he was on Joe Rogan's show when he was asked why cars and not planes, though he said he does have some plane ideas as well but cars are more important to fix first.
As for me, today is my first day back in the office since the 19th. I'm not enjoying it.
For us, we want to slap everyone but usually the mom the most. My wife thinks it's funny how predictable the show is but I find it frustrating because I always know what's going to happen next. We're only 5 or so episodes in but I still have the same complaint as season one, has a lot of potential but doesn't really seem to want to do anything with it.
The planet itself isn't going to blow up like Alderaan or whatever your argument was but the environment is something that we can and do have a massive impact on.
