Yeah, the Mandate was the most disappointing project of the 70 that I've backed with successful campaigns. I've only read a few articles, tweets, and rants about the development but it sounded really bad.

Just finished episode 6 of Messiah and I'm hooked My wife wasn't interested in watching it and I've been sick so I've been squeezing in episodes whenever I can.

A friend gifted me a bottle of Mitcher's small batch bourbon. Pretty good but probably not the first thing I'd reach for. Was told about a drink I need to try, the Smokey Coke. It's a whiskey and Coke but with Scotch whiskey. I was told it's best with Lagavulin 16 but still good with just the 8 year. I haven't been about to test that yet since I'm out of both 8 and 16 at the moment and didn't want to sub in another peaty Scotch. Now that I think about it, I asked for a bottle of 16 year for my birthday and Christmas. It was the only thing I've asked for in at least a decade and I just now realized that I never got it. Sad face.

It wasn't for me and I really couldn't get into it. I never had that problem with the MechWarrior games until the newest one, even in 3rd person. I dunno what it is, maybe some undiagnosed claustrophobia or something, but I can't take that cramped feeling for very long.

I can see them doing that but it seems better to study that in people who aren't constantly risking concussions and CTE unless your point is to study it in banged up brains. My opinion overall is that marijuana should be legal regulated like tobacco and alcohol but I'm also all for studying it further. I know way too many people who think it's some kind of panacea with absolutely no adverse effects.

I doubt anything will change there unless it becomes a large enough issue in both the locker room and in the public to actually push for it I also liked Bartimaeus idea of injured player's salaries not counting against the cap. I guess I'd be onboard for a potentially reduced salary for those players if that's what it takes but would also like some limits there like a minimum salary GD - I haven't heard a peep

I dropped the game on planet 2 because of the perspective. It doesn't make me sick like it does my wife but I just find it uncomfortable and cramped.

Not many players get that kind of money though and I'd just recommend shorter contracts for people you're going to give insane amounts of money to. I know the rosters are much larger but the salaries are also much, much lower. But I'm pro player in general so I am biased on the matter

Yeah, the NFL has the worst contracts of the big three (NFL, NBA, MLB). I think it's kinda sad since they also have the shortest careers, lowest salaries, and are also the most injury prone of the three on average.

Has anyone here seen Messiah on Netflix? Thinking of adding it to the lineup after The Witcher which is next up once we finish whatever it is that we've been watching.

I can agree with that. I thought the season was really all over the place in terms of pretty much everything but that it is comparitively strong against Disney's other offerings. It also ended on a much better note than it began and especially better than it middled.
