  1. Sooo after the full ability reveal, i was thinking about going berserk for my MC and the barbaric retaliation alone is not enough to go single class imho so i was wondering what to chose as multiclass, considering that i will have pallegina as herald and eder as main tank... My first 2 pick would be helwalker or devoted for dual wielding swords. The helwalker would pump even more damage but considering that i will basically just get force of anguish and clarity of mind as wound spender i'm kinda afraid to stay too high on wounds and get myself killed quickly, but the other offensive skills look kinda good. The devoted would be tankier, but with 2 frontliner already i'm afraid i would lose too much dps, even though the thing i like the most are the stances, especially for the extra engagement, since i would have 0 engagement without it... What do you guys think?
  2. Question about carnage... Does it center around the barbarian or the enemy hit? And what's its range? If a berserk is flanking an enemy will it hit (cause of confusion) the companion on the other side of the enemy?
  3. 5 might 2 pen interrupt on crits iirc
  4. Because chanter has some pretty good blast, if I remember correctly they have a tornado like innvocaton at high level. As I said, chanter is very versatile, it can CC, blast, heal, revive, summon and has passive phrase. It also does very good in all of these aspect. Well, to use the invocation after that buff you should rebuild your phtases from 0,dont even know if it will last enough... Oh well i'll keep my pallegina as buffbot anyway
  5. Pretty sad they moved cipher time parasite to lv 8,but that could have been op for multiclass i guess? And pretty disappointed that chanters got self only buffs, it kinda goes against the concept of the class itself imho, that would have been amazing to give energized to your main dps... Also rogue get only 1 (one) lv 9 ability? Did they run out of ideas? Well, as with high level abilities in poe 1,i'm not amazed this time aswell, with a couple of exception (yes i'm looking at you dragon summoning) they kinda miss the "wow" effect imho. The tooltip are kinda messy btw, and why do you have to mousover to read the power cost of skill, while that's not in the full description? Did they just forget it?
  6. Well, it's always a mere lv 2 spell, doubt it will make high level gear worthless
  7. Isnt there the risk that all the smaller summons get oneshotted by a single aoe though?
  8. if i'm not wrong i've seen from some recent gameplay that there are light armor (6 AR iirc) with 0% reovery, so there seem to be a way to be fast and to not get overpenetrated at least (assuming that enemies will have similar PEN to player weapons)
  9. Well, there are some super cool ability like persistent distraction and riposte for a tank and some that are really fitting imho like the smoke bomb or withering strike... And you get sneak attack as passive for some extra damage
  10. I was thinking about a similar stat distrubution for my pc but... Isnt that 1 more point above what we have?
  11. What about dual wielding helwalker/kind wayfarer? If i got it right, white flames scales with MIG, so that could help with the extra damage you receive.
  12. Uh wait, so alchemy increase the effectiveness of potions? I thought it was only required to craft higher level ones... That's interesting
  13. I wouldn't presume too much based on the beta evidence. Enemy armor ratings and unique weapon powers in the full game will determine which weapon types are 'best'. Also judging by Pillars 1 veteran difficulty, you should have no issue with a 'squishy' melee class. Just bring some good support (KW Pallegina, single class Priest/Druid, Chanter etc.) and you should be fine. If you feel too squishy just wear heavier armor. Cipher also gets some nice defensive powers (Body Attunement, Borrowed Instinct) as well as good disables, which should help. Plan is to have eder as tank, pallegina KW herald full support (lay on hand/ancient memory plus improved skeletons for extra crowd) and xoti and teheku single class priest/druid for some extra babysitting, but dunno if it will be enough for my glass cannon, i ll'let you know
  14. I'm going assassin/soulblade even if it's made of paper cause i just love the concept, think i'll tune down from veteran to normal if i see it's too hard, or maybe roll a tankier character... What's a bit sad is the weapon selection cause from what i reading, dual wielding sabre is flat out superior to pretty much anything else
  15. Right -- or an alternative to it. Well, that was supposed to be a joke i guess
  16. Probably that, i think on the other video it had the enchantant "is that a broom?" instead of "you cant me serious", must be a different choice in the enchant pattern
  17. I have noticed from the wiki that subclasses get a level 0 ability with their own name. Did anyone try to add a subclass via the console command?
  18. Sooo, do we have a list somewhere for the console commands? And how do we enable them btw? Thanks!
  19. Oh sorry, didnt notice that, thanks!
  20. What about the water color for pallegina and eder from poe? I liked better their potrait from the first game and i wanted to keep those, could anyone make those please?
  21. How exactly afflictions and inspiration interact? I know that any tier of a stat inspiration "counters" any tier of the same stat affliction but how exactly? They both get dispelled right away or they keep their duration and while they both last they suppress each other (i. e. If we use the priest spell suppress affliction or whatever it's called we keep the inpiration while the spell is on)?
  22. Soo, i was just wondering how druid and priest feel with the change of known spells. Cause "traditionally" we have divine spellcaster that learn all the spells right away while wizards have to learn them... And that always made sense to me cause the former always had more situational spells (affliction removing, scaling and various healing spells, buffs, debuffs, spells limited to creature types like undead or animals etc). How's the situation now that are the wizards who got more spells? Cause looking at beta videos, a pure druid will have 3 spells per level at lv 7 and on top of that you have to choose between spells and talents, and i cant imagine myself picking a talent over a spell, especially on higher power levels... How do you feel about those classes? They feel restricted or are ok? Edit:oh btw is respeccing implemented on launch this time? Cause that could lessen the problem a bit since you could discard spells you dont want to use anymore, especially the various tiers of healing
  23. So, a question on game mechanics... How smoke veil/invisibility potions interfere with enemy targeting? You should be untargetable while you are invisible but if you go invisible while an enemy is casting a single target spell on you what happens? Annnd does taking aoe damage (or, well, any kind of damage actually) end the invisibilty anyway?
