  1. dodnt see the issue single/group stealth. If you want to stealth with once character, why does it matter if other chars that are standing still are in stealth too? in combat stealth, that i do miss
  2. doubt it, since it hasnt been in beta that long, and there hasnt been any change in patch notes (for 1.04 they changed twice)
  3. there is a bind for change weaponsets coming in the .05 patch, but dont know if its party wide, probbably per character as the rest binds
  4. Spellbind items not giving the spell until you equip then save/load (few threads, last one: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/78972-105-taluntains-staff/ )
  5. i stand corected It is theorycrafting, because I'd like to see you pull that off consistently you asked why, i took a guess
  6. it sometimes happens with vendors who are 'overstocked' (who had bought a lot of your items) scrolling up and down seemed to correct the issue
  7. Dont get me wrong, i think POE could be better: 1.) enemy AI (high cost) - together with 2.) would solve combat (non)difficulty and sammenes 2.) pathfinding (mid to high cost) 3.) More companions (high cost i guess) 4.) More Locations (high cost) 5.) party AI-scripts (high cost) 6.) Better stonghold (more use for stronghold improvements, more meaningful events/adventures, some unique items in shops) (mid to high cost)
  8. since we are getting stash changes in 1.05, dont know if something simillar is being implemented but: 4) Stash: seperate compartment/tab/filter for items we dont want to sell (the items we put in there dont show up in other filters)

DA:O had exactly ONE original and good mechanic: spell interactions (mind you those were only for spellcasters, no casting clases were completly mmoish), othervise it was fun for one playtrough, but fell FAR short on its prommise/premise ('origins' lol, just different intros) People complain Defiance Bay/Twin Elms are small. i dont remember main city in DA:O being that big either Skyrim is beautiful, and interesting for a while, but soon becomes repetitive, sameish and boring. And what do people complain about the loot in POE? that the enchanting system makes it uninteresting (dont agree with that). Poe has unique enchantments. in Skyrim, everything you could make/enchant was far supperior to anything you could loot i would like to play it again (as i didnt finish it because of some bugs (hey, they had bugs even back then), but its completly unplayable due to camera controls. NWN 1 would probbably be better camera wise, but that isnt a party based rpg and its uglier than POE>BG 1/2 EE>NWN2 and those are/were AAA+ titles with far bigger buget dan POE
  11. Because backstab has range of 2 m, so you might as well use mele weapons. it also works only from stelth or invisibility. Since invisibility ability Shadowing Beyond is only 2 per encounter, and you can only stealth outside of combat you might as well 1. open with backstab from stealth 2. Shadowing Beyond letting your tank pick up engagement 3. backstab from invisibilty after all are engaged 4 repeat Shadowing Beyond and backstab for the 3rd time edit: this is theorycrafting, since my rogue was ranged and i didnt take backstab
  12. expansion was confirmed in an interwiew, it will come in 2 parts
  13. Poe like skyrim with budget they had: no more than gilded vale. if that as far as NWN2. i enjoyed it when it came out and i had computer under minimum requirements for it. tried it again recently. Camera is uncontrolable and horrible. would prefer if it was top town or isometric
  14. you can try finding an older save where the areas are ok and copying their files into the new save although i have no idea if that would work
  15. The main selling point of the game is that it is a spiritual succesor of IE games and its goal was to have the same feel as those games. That won't change. (hopefuly) My advice, next time read whats the game about before you buy it
  16. 99% your save game got corrupted. save game is zipped, and every area is a file in it. if you delete the coresponding file from the save, it resets. so check that save for area files in it
  17. sometimes it does calculate the free slots wrong as you thought (on my firt playtrough sangune plate was 9/12 exceptional but it wouldnt let me upgrade it to superb even though i had materials, money and was 12th level)

  19. +aoe(including carnage) afecting charmed partymembers +party attacking charmed partymembers maybe not realy a bug, but its surely an oversight in ai or something
  20. The Retaliate mod should not strike allies after using Field Triage. is it fixed for all friendy spells or just Field Triage?
  21. even with acces to stash disabled(limited) it should be posible to send things into stash anytime, just not to retrieve them
