  1. one of the first playtroughs where i got deeper into game i went benovelent honest passionate paladin , and oh GOD that SUX so much , being evil actually spices this game up
  2. All tanks are boring and bad , choice usually should depend on the rest of your party , Is your party ranged focused? Paladin and Chanter is way to go , Melee Focused? Well you need those 5 Engagement Slots from fighter then etc . etc.
  3. Sanguine Plate doesnt stack with Hiro's Cloak anyway , so it was never a loss just a buff , now you can have 2 Retal items Hiros+shield and frienzy on sanguine plate , also frenzy can pop twice a fight now , so its basically 30 seconds of +4MIG+3CON+33%Aspeed thats just amazing .
  4. Pets Purpose is to give Stalkers Link jeesus ... and that is close to impossible to have reliably and you waste a Neck Slot of items for Stalkers Link bonus , which is enormous but just because Stalkers Link is so bad .
  5. Keep believing that ranger outdamage's ranged rogue , How the ranger can outdamage Deathblows please some1 explain me?

Problem with ranger pets is : Fight Starts , You cant Send your pet yet or he will insta die , Enemy aggro your tanks , now you can send your pet but ranger already used 2 blunderbusses out of 4 and killed 2 enemy mages already , you send your pet to flank something , He recieves 25 Disgengagement Attacks even if mobs are attacking tank at that moment they will turn to pet for a milisecond to engage and disengagemenet attack him pet dies like the piece of **** it is , here you got yourself nice grieving debuff , proceed to reroll rogue .
  7. the streaker you are fundamentally wrong , Ranger will never outdamage Ranged Rogue it was discussed on these forums thousand times just dont start it better read up instead of proclaiming stuff , Also for ranger to reach atleast 70% of rogues damage you need quickswitch and blunderbusses that cipher is using , no way some crappy ranger reloading arquebus or arbalest will come close to the ranged rogue this is not possible w/e you say or think its just not true , this is not something i proclaim like you did , just read up forum posts about this there was hundred of pages of discussion about this . Also its better to use Fire weapon chant anyway .

  9. Melee Rogue and Wizard spells on the ground + PoE Pathfinding is asking for a treat :D
  10. I found Vithracks to be harder than Ogres , Petrify > Insect Swarm ( i mean insect swarm isnt that bad if you got a cipher who can paralyze them when they cast it )

Tanks - Chanter and Warrior , Warrior you can have with like 3 Might he is not gona do any damage no matter how you build him and max defenses get 5 engagement slots ( Defender+2 , Hold The Line+1 , Guarding Weapon +1) , chanter is perfect offtank it requires no micromanagement and it skills takes time to charge but are very powerful you can have him a bit weaker defense wise like 3 CON is good choice and have good might so you can have him as primary scroll user . Wizard Offtank+CC+ Parasytic Staff, wizards should never ever be played as ranged in PoE , have him close to melee so he picks up runners and stuff meanwhile debuffing , PoTD has enormous amounts of trash mobs so having 3rd offtank is a good choice and wizard only needs to pop 3-4 skills to get tankier than anyone . Back Line - Ranged Rogue get Cloud Piercer as soon as possible and never think about other weapons , Cipher With Blunderbusses + Quick Switch ( Island Aumaua Mandatory here ) Magran Priest with Arquebus - I messed up my build while spending 2 talents for Interdiction that weakens enemies , that was kinda waste , this time i would build All the talents that gives + accuracy to arquebus , and ofcourse Gunner is mandatory . i did Triple Crown first try with this setup .

I played both in 1.05 they are weaker yes but still the best imo , especially how they are available very early i usually Kill the dozens bastard right after completing the quest for rogue knight and buying everything from their crappy shop , also funny thing Weenan or w/e he is called ( boss of dozens ) will stay as strongest enemy defeated for quite some time , good thing he is either alone or with few 1 hitable npc's i remember i was surprised to miss everything on him on POTD land graze at best :D

Only bad thing is that you advertised Rotfinger Gloves for a sure nerf next patch( Item is perfect for solo rogue), other than that nice thread i played something like that on Easy Normal and Hard ( did all of them with solo rogue dual wielding using stilettos ) and i was thinking what kind of rogue should i go for POTD
  14. only bad thing about the build in POE can be that it doesnt have min CON other than that INT doesnt matter for fighters( having 8 is not bad but you can go 3 if you want) , and dex is just ****ed by sanguine plate anyway so why stack it?
  15. I usually end up with Rogue/Cipher/Ranger as PC and try to keep them pure to Deceptive , Agressive , Cruel , Clever dispositions lol ;D

Kill Caravan , then Dwarf Chef in Valewood , then Nonton in Valewood as well , then go to Gilded Vale and now you can stack your deceptive disposition like a boss or cruel if you want half of town to go berserk on you . Can rub it in Aufra's Face that you killed her sister , can rub it to Innkeeper that you killed the cook tho all in will go berserk on you , after you kill nonton you can visit Ingroed house and lie to her that you never saw nonton then go to bear cave complete the quest and comeback to rub it into Ingroed face she goes berserk on you and drops +5 DEF ring :D

Spellstriking : Jolting Touch , is probably best damage modal in this game(Stileto and Cloudpiercer easily can last whole game for your char ) sadly its only one per encounter meanwhile every crappy Spellholding item was given 2 per encounter inlcuding double frenzy from sanguine plate for 30 seconds rofl

I did a run on POTD with PC Rogue and 5 Story Companions (Eder,Aloth,Durance,Kana,GM) , before i did a run with 6 customs and what can i say is that there is hardly any difference , it is tough up to Caed Nua ( huh no items/skills/talents ) and after that its cakewalk . Story companions on other hand provide you with ****ton of dialogue when you do quests , also they got their own quests that equals ton of free exp , to experience full game you should use them .

ON a good day you want to have character using Marking Arquebus standing near ranger , not the ranger using it himself also there are no arquebusses left to go with quick switch so its clearly out of the question on a optimized ranged build, Lead Splitter + Exceptional Blunderbusess in mid game , late game combo would be Lead Splitter , SCon Mica's Roar, Dulcanale , Forgiveness ( if speed ever gets fixed ) , all with corrosive lash and exceptional , 2 blunderbusses are for 2x wounding shot per encounter ( be sure to debuff combusting wounds before can even put a ring on a ranger as your shots are limited so casting combusting wounds is good choice also this combo kills anything in this game) , dulcanale can be swapped with exceptional blunderbuss but i like to keep it , Forgiveness is out of question atm because speed doesnt work , so i end up going 3x Blunderr+dulcanale for reloading after quick switches ,
  20. 1/2 Focus was overkill might be so , nerf to 1/4 ? worst decision by devs , should been something like starting 10 and increases by a bit every level .
