  1. 3k ? How??? Max i get is arround 1200-1300 and thats with selling dissapointer which should never happen because how good the weapon is early with accuracy enchant
  2. Everyone is bashing rangers , my 4th party now ( most of them midgame or end of act1 on various difficulty setings incl PotD and Hard + ToI ) all of them had PC Ranger , every time i built differently and it seems that they arent the best if you relly on companion and ranger skills you get , But there are builds that wrecks **** for example going wood elf seems obvious choice for the ranger tho its more of a ranged rogue race , true ranger race is Island Aumua for the additional weapon sets , talent choice is quick switch always at level 2 ( get dissapointer , crossbow and war bow for your weapons rotation at lvl 2 when you start fight its pistol>crossbow>finish the fight reloading the bow ) , early game get 2 pistols+ arbalest for 4200, then talent to get 4th weapon set for even more quick switch wrecking , skills : vicious aim seems important shoot first 3 quick switches with vicious aim and then turn it off when u endup shooting the bow and reloading it for later talents gunner for when you get enough firearms to use them only , other 3 talent choices can warry but thease 3 are the key to succesfull ranger ( Quick Switch , 4th weapon set , gunner ) so is the island aumua race P.S this requirers a lot of micro managing be aware of that
  3. I too enjoy making new parties more than completing the game tbh :D as for enchants id say As soon as you get named weapons that are fit for your PC go for it enchant them atleast with fire damage + quality The Dissapointer , Stilleto/arbalest from blacksmith are all good choices to tune up to the maximum as soon as u get em
  4. I found out where ingredients are so you can enchant Accuracy on your weapon as soon as you enter gilded vale , There is 1 settlers arrow in the end of tutorial and one in gilded vale near the center tree , blue stones you can get from secret stash in valewood at lizards camp also those lizards drop tongues that are also needed for enchantment , dissapointer hits like a truck tho
  5. Was just curious which enchantment(materials to do it) for weapon is available earliest in the game ? and where would those materials be ? i know 2x Turquoise for accurate can be found in secret stash in Valewood same goes for xaurip tongues they are on same spot (atleast 1) , 1 settlers arrow grows in gilded vale so i would need 1 more i guess any ideas where to find it ? any1 else tryed to rush enchant Dissapointer to remove terrible ?
  6. Yeh good idea with all this PoTD i forgot i could just change difficulty while playing ... and ur prob right about ironman , even if i will go ironman i plan to have something like backup save done manually when i reach certain points in the game like : first town , stronghold , defiance etc ( i assume its still posible to find ironman savefile in game folder and just copy it somewhere else )
  7. Hey gona help you with one here : Pistol , The Dissapointer - in Tutorial Map ( Encampement ) Your character needs to start with 1 Mechanics , its in a camp past the river in hidden stash ( you need to be in stealth mode to find that and you need mechanics ) You either can sell this to NPC vendor in tutorial map for 750 c ( do this before **** goes down tho because other vendors wont pay this much for it) or you can keep it and try to find ingredients for a proper enchantment asap because this weapon is a true dissapointment and comes with enchant called "terrible"
  8. I have seen those threads , they all include some deep discussion how to abuse bugs and cheese tactics that is not what i have asked , also i stated the class i plan to do it but thats not the key , this is a general question : Is Normal difficulty doable solo without abusing of bugs and cheese tactics ? or should i go easy . If yes then another question is how tough is it Ironmanable or not ?
  9. Not hard to RP with a DPS fighter when Might = DPS = RP'ing Fighter who uses Might skillchecks to get trough conversations , survivability depends on game difficulty alot in lower difficulties you can offtank with high dps fighters where at PotD non tanks just die from damage rly fast .
  10. Hello , lets say if i wanted to do a solo playtrough BUT without abusing cheese tactics and ingame bugs , i heard its not doable on hard without cheesing so normal then ? any1 done proper solo playtrough on normal ? are there fights that requires some abusing of bugs ? wanted to try solo Island Aumua Ranger with bear pet and atleast 4 pistols and quick switch , playtrough some time in the near future , wondering if i should go Ironman Mode easy , or Normal with reloads
  11. Tho there is huge difference between trully min maxed char and random recruit you can make with focused attributes to his class and then there is NPC companions with mostly random stats :D
  12. How do you play barbarian properly ? Mine always dies either from CC or after Fury ends she drops dead , what armors to use ( no armor? light? heavy ? is reduction important for barb ?) what weapon2 hander or dual wield ? trough 2 playtroughs barb and rogue are classes giving me most pain because of how glitchy character moving etc is my melee dpsers seems to be not that usefull
  13. I already noticed that Stag form for druid isnt the best , and its just for stronger auto's i guess , i am using my druid as main spellcaster anyway so shapeshift wont come into play that much i guess , after making team yesterday today started clearing early zones , dinged lvl 3 after Anglagss Compass and going to do the temple in Gilded Vale to see how my team does against some tougher fights , should i go 2 hander for barbarian or maybe get 2 named stilletos that are available early ? Also ranger is my PC and it was in my first playtrough aswell i didnt thought about going rogue ranger this time probably would have been more fun
  14. Hey there , i decided to start PoTD Playtrough with 6 custom characters( Played on Hard with story with companions before) , i chose thease classes and races and as i like to RP a bit i plan to stick to thease class+race combos for the attributes builds i prety much min maxed the most important stats for each class , overall party has alot of characters with max int ( aoe ) and max might ( on dps chars and priest for max heals ) , i havent played most of thease classes further into the game yet so i would like to ask for some general advice for leveling paths : talents , skills , equipment etc. would be nice if people who are expierenced with any of thease chars could share some info , so my part is : Tanks : Fire Godlike Chanter , Moon Godlike Paladin ( Both Full Tanks + Max Buffing Power ) Physical DPS : Woodland Elf Ranger (Bear Pet for extra tanking , ranger max 1 target damage build ) Human Barbarian ( Max cleavage build for aoe clearing ) Mages : Coastal Amanua Priest ( Sick Heals ) Death Godlike Druid ( Mainly AoE Spellcaster , Last resort shapeshift into stag for defense and aoe damage , racial to finish groups of enemies easier , main mage of the team supposed to kill big groups of enemies ) I have expierence playing Ranger Paladin and priest had them in my hard playtrough tho advice is welcome for all of the chars . Feel free to discuss , P.S. Happy Easter !
