  1. I always end up playing rogue...that's my pick, probably doing a party of savages with all the barbarian multiclass.
  2. Thank you guys, now I know summoned weapons are like soulbound ones mind if I ask another thing? :D It seems all the summoned weaps are 2 handed, does the talent "Two Handed Style" work with them too? Savage Attack?
  3. What I understand about weapon focus is: it works for each category of weapon adding +x acc bonus to the listed weapons. Soulbound weapons are a category per se and any weapon focus taken will add the bonus to the soulbuound ones. Does it mean any weapon focus taken will stack or only one will work and the others suppressed? The Priests' talent works with soulbound weapons and I guess it stacks with the weapon focus. How weapon focus works with wizard's summoned weapons? Are they considered like soulbound weapons? Do they replace the equipped weapon like shapeshifting or maintain the bonuses? Thanks, my Aloth wanna go melee.
  4. Hi, I have a pretty similar frontlane with Kana tank but having some trouble figuring out which talents to take because ancient memory + beloved spirits + veteran's recovery leave few slots left: .weapon and shield (mandatory) .ancient memory .veteran's recovery .beloved spirits Alternatives: .superior deflection .bear's fortitude .snake's reflexes .bull's will .bear's fortitude .body control .weapon focus Is really necessary stacking ancient memory + beloved spirits + veteran's ? I have seen that the moment Kana is stunned/paralyzed/et simila is really hard keeping him alive so seems to me Bear's Fortitude + Body Control are nearly mandatory. With all that healing maybe Snake's reflexes can be skipped and taking some damage is ok: Fulvano's Amulet and Belt of Bountiful Healing can be found pretty early in the game; Bull's will can help the lvl before Durance can access to the anti control spells. Alternatively, can tanking with the paladin x/shield + Eder open a slot for a third offtank? I'm thinking about Maneha. I have never played the barbarian but I want to give a try. Pala tank with CladhalĂath + shield, Eder with the Hours of St. Rumbalt and the Blade of the Endless Paths to Maneha, geared with the endurance regen. Thanks
  5. Rogue, Barbarian: I'm literally curious to know their possible background, I'm loving so far all the bg of the companions Then, I know I'm going a little off the purpose of the poll but the question seems to me more open: Mystify the dragons, too many dragons in the base campaign.
  6. I'm enjoying it in all aspects. Companions backgrounds are simply delightful, the paladin companion is the first paladin I enjoyed to play with. I used to dislike dwarves, the ranger one made me change my opinion. The priest....the priest is a so deep character... I don't go further, I think it's a waste of time with all these delusional complains flying around so easily in this forum. Instead, I'm going to play and enjoy PoE. Bye.
  7. It's 17+1 points to set, 17 from the stats panel +1 selecting the background of your character. Previously the +1 from culture background was given before selecting any culture, giving you automatically the +1 on resolve of the Aedyr culture.
  8. Immunities from both side (for pc and creature) doesn't appeal me at all, it makes me feel lame. Pro for high resistance to a type of damage but not immunity. Fire sword on fire elemental? It's going to take the iron anyway. Rename the blindness status into senseless: you don't put the blind malus, but you affects all senses to give a mean to the accuracy malus usually blind does. Blind creatures can't easily hit if not because of the other senses. But immunities? No, please

  10. optimizing the stats in order to overperforming your class, mostly regardless the roleplaying.
  11. They're tailoring (I prefer this word than balancing) their own creation, to make it perfect like an artist with his/her masterpiece. They want this game to be perfect, I feel it, they want our suggestions and feedback. Too bad most of these replies don't bring anywhere and seems to me only trolling. Do we deserve games like this?
  12. I think that INT is already strong enough for the chanter, more duration for invocations and more aoe both phrases and invocations. Resolve needs to be able to make longer linger: "Resolve reflects a character's internal drive, determination, fearlessness, and the emotional intensity they can project to others. It can be useful for mental intimidation, leadership, and convincing performances. In combat, it helps characters maintain Concentration and contributes to the Will and Deflection defenses." More pathos in my words!
  13. The only thing disturbs me is only having seen too many dragons in the trailer. I'm at chapter 2 now, and it's fine, story-wise, better than be a son of a god wandering the mortal world imho. By the way, NO SPOILER section.
  14. section no spoilers, please move this thread elsewhere.
