Before I watch it, what's your policy on spoilers/gameplay tips? I may have some, I played this game to ****ing death.

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is out today. I'll be wearing my brown trousers tonight.

Saw World War Z. It was okay. It was very rushed, it jumped from set piece to set piece. It was refreshing to see a zombie movie that actually shows the worldwide zombie apocalypse instead of being stuck in one location to conserve budget. You know, up until the last act where they got stuck in one location to conserve budget.

Looks like the Total Recall remake. Non-offensive but watchable.

I dunno, something with 48fps projection, 4k resolution, dolby atmos, etc. trumps most home cinemas, but only for big event movies.

This looks like Lego Technic.

Alan Rickman (or more accurately, Snape) his fangirls say you're outdated. His fansgirls are overweight 40 year olds.. I say they are outdated!! good day sir.. I personally know a whole wave of Alan Rickman fangirls (at least 15) and none of them are over 25, none of them are overweight, and most of them are attractive. I also know that Alan Rickman's wife has had serious trouble with the amount of hatemail she gets from his legion of jealous fangirls. Do not underestimate the power of a dark brooding British accent with black hair. Just look at Loki, or Sherlock. They have the same fangirl "demographic".

We need 300 Spartans to deal with those pesky Iranians.

The first Conan is an awesome movie.

Well done young Grasshopper !!! I'm interested what did they ask you in the interview? Was it straight work related questions or anything that you didn't expect Straight work and experience questions, really. Apparently I got really lucky, because all their internship positions were filled, but about ten minutes before I applied one intern cancelled so the guy figured "maybe it's meant to be" and didn't grill me so hard.
-
Got the internship. Time to make 3D models for low budget racing games.

Fish & Chips. Score!

I'll be sure to think of those questions beforehand, especially the animal one. I'll have to come up with a reason to pick something ridiculous like a Tapir or a Capibara. Thanks guys!

Funny student film that parodies a car commercial.

Got an interview tomorrow for a paid internship as a 3D game artist. Wish me luck! Any interviewing tips?

Diablo 3 - Reaper of Souls - new expansion
Blarghagh replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Computer and Console
Malthael was formerly the Archangel of Wisdom, but he went missing and has now reappeared as the Angel of Death. Many people expect Imperius the Archangel of Valor to go through a similar transformation and end up as the Angel of Wrath, as hinted during the Diablo III: Wrath animation. -

Well, it entertained the hell out of me and my co-op friends so I'm definitely getting this. -
Job applications. Never thought I'd miss being a student.

Hmm. My GoG versions of Dungeon Keeper and Syndicate American Revolt both worked fine without a hitch. I plan on buying Dungeon Keeper at some point but I got that the old discs to work (using fan patches) better than the official version - Theme Park World, on the other hand, hasn't been released on GoG and pretty much requires a ton of patches and fixes and even some hex editing to work optimally.

Good lord, I love old school Bullfrog games (Dungeon Keeper, Theme Park, Populous) but are they hard to get running on newer operating systems! Took me almost two days to get Sim Theme Park (the european release of Theme Park World) running just so I can experience some nostalgia!

A little found-footage horror film called "Grave Encounters" that was alternatingly hilarious and surprisingly effective. It was hopelessly derivative, some bits were plain silly and the effects were awful but on a whole it had a creepy atmosphere, nasty jumpscares and enough twists to keep it fresh. Essentially it was half a ghost hunting show parody and half a straight haunted house movie. I recommend it for late night popcorn munching, you'll find it funny or scary or both and either way it's entertaining.

My name is a reference to the alignment system in D&D which I picked because at the time I was a project manager and spent most of my time mediating. I don't use this nickname much anymore, everywhere else I'm known as "Funderbunk" which is a child's mispronounciation of "Thunderpunk" which was a possible nickname I was kicking around that said child overheard me saying and repeated. My Avatar is my personal mascotte. I made it.

I hear that, I've slept maybe 3 hours in as many nights and yesterday I just didn't go outside at all.
