  1. This makes no sense to me. I cannot remember you not being here. EDIT: Same for Lady Crimson. How come you guys feel like fixtures, I still feel like somewhat of a newb, yet I've been here longer? I guess it's because I don't post a lot.
  2. Supposedly the script is based on the novel Warcraft: The Last Guardian Source? Because I hadn't heard that and that book is awful.
  3. Rollercoaster Tycoon. Time to waste countless hours!
  4. You're not as close to the end as you might think. Good luck here. Also, funny to see regulars here popping up on your steam.
  5. Oh good god, the concept of a Firefly RPG by you guys... I drool. Talk to Joss Whedon/Fox/Whoever and kickstart that mother. I can't think of something that would be an easier sell on Kickstarter than that.
  6. Originally because I wanted to chime in on the interesting discussions on KotOR 2, and then I kinda hung around.
  7. Man, I've never been so entertained by such a boring story. Rothfuss writes so well that I don't mind he spends his entire time in this beautifully realized fantasy universe having his main character fuss over student loans. Can't wait for book 3 of Kvothe's stressful time in school.

    Oh well, thanks anyway.

I'd like Alpha Protocol. It's the only Obsidian title I've never played. I'll give you Orion: Dino Horde in return if you want it, but I gotta warn you, that game is absolute dung. Steam ID is Funderbunk.
  10. That says you suffer from cartoonish, sitcom levels of fear of commitment.
  11. The show's not very good. Extremely kiddie compared to the film. I did see it in 3D, the only movie other than Avatar that I felt the 3D was worth it.
  12. This is one of the more unfair puzzles in the game. Throwing rocks won't help here. Trust your ears.
  13. Wow, that's a surprise. And a positive development, it means the loot machine can be attuned to fun rather than profit again.
  14. Ah, the Brute in the sewers. Doesn't matter what you do, there's a trigger that spawns him right behind you. It's beautiful, nobody expects that one. You finished your puzzle, you've distracted the monster. What game just sends him barrelling right after you anyway? Extremely well-paced right there.
  15. I have to take a step back from this, because the second half of this game seriously lacks. Subtlety goes out the window and gets replaced by equal parts bombastic and obtuse. It is great at building towards scares, bad at delivering them. The writing and sound design are still fantastic, but it seems like most of it seems like good ideas that got extremely rushed or just badly put together. Haha, so true. It's also a big fan of the tried and true barrels and crates.
  16. I just got around to playing Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs for the first time (birthday season keeps me busy) and it terrified me like no game since the original has. It's more subtle, not so many overt monster encounters and more things getting under your skin. I found a drawer full of dentures and broken glasses. What the hell? Definitely less gamey than The Dark Descent, there are almost no gameplay elements other than fetch this item to use it here so you can open this door - the "puzzles" are more like roadblocks forcing you to explore and feel the atmosphere. Oh, the atmosphere! The music and sound design in this game is fantastic! Though it hasn't scared me quite as much as the original, a lot of elements are far better.
  17. Even after having finished the game several times, the prison area still gives me the heebiejeebies, even when watching it. Hiding and being careful is the only way to get through it.
  18. I enjoyed you messing around trying to figure out how to set off the explosive because that's exactly what I did the first time I played it. "Hrm, what if I get away, will it explode? Does it need a fuse?" It was almost Deja Vu. It was before I realized the first rule of Amnesia was to chuck a rock at it. Your nervous laugh when scary things happen is entertaining. Also, I don't know if you've recorded part 8 yet but here's a fairly ambigious hint if you need it. I hope that helps you a little.
  19. Prefer none if possible. I don't mind you commenting on areas I have been to in the past, however. Alright, I shall only provide one non-spoiling general gameplay tip regarding the puzzles in the game: When in doubt, throw a rock at it.
  20. Before I watch it, what's your policy on spoilers/gameplay tips? I may have some, I played this game to ****ing death.
  21. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is out today. I'll be wearing my brown trousers tonight.
  22. Saw World War Z. It was okay. It was very rushed, it jumped from set piece to set piece. It was refreshing to see a zombie movie that actually shows the worldwide zombie apocalypse instead of being stuck in one location to conserve budget. You know, up until the last act where they got stuck in one location to conserve budget.
  23. Looks like the Total Recall remake. Non-offensive but watchable.
  24. I dunno, something with 48fps projection, 4k resolution, dolby atmos, etc. trumps most home cinemas, but only for big event movies.
  25. This looks like Lego Technic.
