What's on the idiot box... Part 2
rofl. That's what Green Arrow is supposed to be like. So? That's like saying Jar Jar Binks is good because he's supposed to be annoying.

Finally getting around to watching the second half of the last season of Breaking Bad. Up to episode 14 now. And it's goddamn heartbreaking.

What's on the idiot box... Part 2
I think it's a show for couples. The guys get to enjoy the supernatural monsters, the gore, the action. The girls can enjoy the pouty borderline slash relationship of the wooby brothers (and their favourite angel) and see these guys rescue the damsels in distress over and over. Personally I enjoy it. I dig me some monsters and it's pretty funny to boot. Now, Arrow, on the other hand, I watched four episodes (my mandatory "lets see if it gets better" number of episodes I try to watch before judging something) of and really disliked it. If I wanted to watch Batman Begins I'd pop in my DVD.

What you did today
Getting increasingly depressed while there's seemingly no reason for it. Getting stuck in that "everything is meaningless" detachment is no fun. I wonder if I have some sort of chemical imbalance. How would one go about figuring that out? Can doctors tell if you have a chemical imbalance?

Movies you've seen recently
I like Singer's X-Men movies better than Vaughn's X-Men movie. First Class had good acting and casting but zero pacing and the action sequences that weren't a joke by itself looked like one. The performances carried that movie but other than that it was a movie in which either nothing happened or stupid stuff happened. No disrespect to Vaughn, he's fantastic. I just didn't think his X-Men movie was all that good. People only like it because it's out-sucked by far by Wolverine: Origins and The Last Stand. That being said, this movie already looks uneven and it's only the teaser. The present day scenes look pretty good, but everything in the future looks cheap. The costumes, the sets, the lighting.

Anime... for adults or kids?
If it's not Japanese would it still be called anime? I honestly don't care. The Last Airbender essentially waddles and quacks like a duck, so as far as I'm concerned, it's a duck. Get my meaning? I don't care for how or why someone would explain it is or isn't anime.

Anime... for adults or kids?
Urgh, The Batman deserved to be cancelled. Maybe not in favour of that Yu-Gi-Oh bull but The Batman was awful. Except for the episode where Batman punched an old lady in the face for no seeming reason. Of course, you found out the reason after but it was still hilarious! Now, The Spectacular Spider-man, that was a unique yet loyal take on the webhead and it's exceedingly obvious that the new movie franchise takes it's cues from that show instead of any comic book. That show deserved a third season at least. Ironically, my favourite anime isn't even japanese. The Last Airbender was awesome. Korra is pretty neat too, though the latest season suffers from far worse animation than anything that came before.
