IGN Article about PoE.
Blarghagh replied to GrayAngel's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Guys, this off-topic discussion has gone on long enough. I'm going to have to get out the pruning shears if we don't stay on topic. -
No, the main villain in this movie is Zack Snyder.

I suppose there's Thorpe Park which has a couple of fantastic B&M roller coasters. No other coasters come close.

That Mad Max trailer looked damn badass, and the Deadpool footage (I managed to take a peak before they took it down) was pretty good too - it had a good energy to it. I expect no less from Tim Miller.

Indiana Jones appeared in the background.

Can anyone explain why we need a new King Kong movie?

If I recall, Bao-Dur was supposed to sacrifice himself to save the Exile right before crash landing on Malachor V. Hence why his remote is carrying out his orders instead of himself - it's his last will and testament so to speak. I'd give you a source, but I think I read this in 2006. I simply can't recall what my source is. I can't even recall what the circumstances of his sacrifice were. I know it was never voiced or implemented, hence why no variant of it was created for a restoration mod. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I liked Irenicus Dungeon a lot the first time I played it. Hated it every subsequent time. -

That's because the human is the most used monster in everything else. Except for maybe Sci Fi. -
Macmillan Gaming Marathon - 24 Hour Livestream for Charity
Blarghagh replied to Ashen Rohk's topic in Way Off-Topic
You should contact the YouTuber Markiplier to help you out - that YouTuber does a huge load of charity livestreams and always helps out other charities (also, he'll likely bring a sizeable portion of his 2 million subscribers with him). -
The Official Romance Thread

I suppose "Shrek" counts in a way, though the character design is thusly cartoonish that it doesn't really work that way. -
The Official Romance Thread

Thread pruned again. One last time - discuss the topic, not other posters or their posting style. Last time before I start handing out personal warnings. -
I wish I had seen this before I watched it myself. I don't know what went wrong - it had all the right ingredients to be a good, thought provoking science fiction movie and then it's like everybody just decided "eh, let's make this movie terrible on purpose just for a laugh and see how many people will notice".

of goblins and orcs..
Blarghagh replied to Macrae's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I think this setting has enough high fantasy Tolkienism in it as it is. I enjoy that it's its own thing and not just the same races as everywhere. It gives it more character. I think adding more standard D&D races could quite possibly devalue it as a unique setting and discourage exploration in an "we've seen all these guys before anyway" fashion. Just my 2 cents. Feel free to disagree.- 232 replies

Weirdly enough, the closest I felt to reading an Adams book in years was Yahtzee Croshaw's (of Zero Punctuation fame) Mogworld MMO parody.
