That's one heluva big thing you guys are attempting, there. Storyline is neat, though. Can't say I was impressed with K2 storyline that much, either. Good luck.

Umm, the only RPG I've played for PC is Diablo II, an oldie. Even still, it's a great game if you love a hack and slash click fest. It's a very different RPG than the KOTORS or others. Each class also has their own unique skill/spell tree that no other class has. If you can get over the dated graphics and love point and click killing as well as medieval weaponry, I'd recommend it.

Right now, I'm kicking myself cause I got Doom 3 for PC but then found out I had the wrong kind of platform (ME, it only works on XP) Yeah, I know, I know. And now I can't play it. Guess I'll have to sell it and get it for X-Box. :D

I wasn't laughing at the fact that you were in trouble, just that you had ignored me earlier when I complained about posting about half life in a Halo topic (Darkside's original topic), and then it ended up getting locked. I found the irony in it funny. But don't think I found you being in trouble funny. I don't, FYI. I wouldn't want that to happen to me, either. That's why I edited that in.

Halo 3 is set to come out the same day the PS3 comes out (early 2006, I think) Can't wait to see it. I wonder if that's going to be the last one, or if they plan on continuing it beyond that?

One thing I found unrealistic about the flood was just how many of them you faced. They need hosts to fight, and it seems unrealistic how they were able to get so many hosts. In Halo, the only humans on the ring were from the Pillar of Autumn, yet you must have fought hundreds of infested human floods. The same goes for the covenant. The only reason there was so many was because they wanted to give you a lot of enemies to blow apart. The level "the library" was a tad creepy, which I liked, but it got boring cause all you fought was flood and were in the same evironment over and over. The flood are also the only reason that the game is rated M, too. It's just because you can blow heads and limbs off their bodies. Just FYI.

A Halo thread that talks about Halo? How weird! Anyway, what I want to know is what that gravemind was supposed to be. Perhaps he was some kind of collective conscience for the Flood, sort of like the Overmind in Starcraft. About weapons, in Halo 1 the pistol was super powerful, now it's totally weak. The only real reason to use it now is if you have no other weapons available (which is almost never). I thought the Battle Rifle was sweet, though. Just a comment, I've never played Half-Life 1 or 2, unfortunately. I should really buy it sometime.

Fixed. Anyway, in Halo 2 we faced basically the same enemies as we did in Halo 1: the covenant, the flood, and the sentinals. I wonder if in Halo 3 they'll introduce a new enemy/alien species into the mix. Possibly the forefunners? Maybe they weren't all destroyed, as we thought. :ph34r: I'd also like to know exactly what the gravemind was in Halo 2. They never really explained what it was, how it got there, or if there was more than one of them. Relax, he's been yelling at everyone. And about Revan, that stance wasn't in K2. The stances in K2 didn't even change your position, just the effects of your attacks. And I'm not even sure if that position was part of Revan's normal stance or if he just did it at that particular time.

Here's a handy-dandy influence guide to help you out. It's helped me lots of times. It contains all the characters and how to get influence with them so you can convert them into Jedi (or Sith). *cough*reward*cough*

It had great graphics, almost no glitches, a decent story (Halo 1, at least), was easy to learn, and very well put together. And the vehicles were sweet, too. Revan was a badass and probably the most powerful of his time, (except maybe Nihilus, but that's a different story), but not the ultimate Sith Lord of all time. I mean, Vader was born through the force, and Sidious took over the Republic without even waging war against them. And Revan would have died if it weren't for Bastila. Also, I think K2 kind of 'deified' Revan to the extant he just seemed unhuman, not like he really was. As for Nihilus, he was probably more powerful, but his weakness was his hunger, and that became his downfall because he could not 'feed' off the exile. And just out of curiosity, Master Revan, but why would you respond like that to a statement that was posted months ago?
