Wasn't it from a superhero suit dispenser? I remember something like that in a big crossover. Spidey's suit got damaged and someone told him to get a new one there, and that ended up being the symbiont. Also, there's way more symbionts out there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yup, at the end of Secret Wars. Upon further research it seems there are too many symbiotes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> used to be an entire planet's worth. the current suit is made by iron man.

Also I'm gonna toss in the people who get in the drive through line, get to the sign to order and promptly take a cell call with their widnow rolled up so I have no blasted clue what's up and sit there for five minutes chatting away before finially realizing that they are holding up 15+ cars in line. also idiots who only come through drive through for cash back... (had a person who ordered about 10-15 dollers of food and asked for 20 back... Do I look like I'm supposed to be able to get in my drawer easily and gyp people out of 20 + dollers if I didn't have scrouples?

Volourn's Early Final Fantasy 12 Impressions
Calax replied to Volourn's topic in Computer and Console
Yup, that's what I do. All my characters are right at 20 or higher and their MP pool seems kinda small. Hope there's a way to increase this on the License board. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> probably is... after all they have ways to increase your health on the accessories/magic board. -
Don't forget Kingdom Hearts 2, Suikoden V, Zone of the Enders Second Runner,Devil May Cry 1 and 3 (2 was garbage), and the Metal Gear Solid series!

Doesn't it come from space, an organism originally taking MJ's Husband's(he's an atronaut) body and transfering to Peter? We need Calax. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wasn't referring to the origin but the one you stated is the cartoon version. Also we don't need Calax, no offense to him. ouch my feelings....

I say put ghost in the shell in the same heap as Akira.

Azumanga Dioh. Good... funny as hell if you can get the humor. As to NGE? it falls apart half way though (understandable given the maker had a freaking Mental breakdown at that point.)

well at least they did better on gwen than they did on Kingpin. I wonder if her neck gets snapped in the first half hour...

Volourn's Early Final Fantasy 12 Impressions
Calax replied to Volourn's topic in Computer and Console
Da thoughts de Calax on FF12: Beautiful game... I really can't say more about that... it's just jaw dropping about the sheer eye candy in this sucker (the hair seems to be permanently gelled on all the characters tho.) The plot is... unique. Country falls and everybody blames another country which is trying to just fight a war with it's main rival (basically the world politcal map has two giants and a bunch of little guys in the middle... "your" nation state is one of the little guys whos trying to get by but gets eaten up militarily by one of the bigger states.) It should be noted that Ivalice is the same world as FFXI. So humans are "humes" and there are also Viera (rabbit people). I'm farther than either volo or oerwende were. But I'm still not very far. One of the nice things about the new system is that anyone can use ANY weapon. It's not like all the previous ones where you run around find a shop in a town that sells the best weapon and buy the three best for your primary team. It's actually really easy to get your licensing board set up, you get points so fast that you can have at least half the board opened by level 10. One of the interesting things is that there isn't a world map. At least not in the manner that Mk thinks of it from it's past iterations. Instead it's like FFX was initially in that you travel the world by moving thought wild areas where you battle party is out. you can teleport between certain save points (usually one at each POI) but as it stands at about 15 hours I have yet to actually hit a world map. and Moogles got a small revamp... a very nice revamp. -
George excels as a story teller, not as a director....

so your saying potential makes the beasty? because your yelling about the fact your killing living cells but when you remove a cancerous tumor your killing living cells... if we're working purly off potential we better put enviromental protections on those sewers so that thriving bacterial ecosystems can evolve and replace us as the domonint life form on the planet. And I have never been good at english or the written version of it.
-
depends... if it's modern like Matrix online or COH I can see it being done easily. But in WoW? it'd be difficult because there aren't very many loading points and it's immersion breaking to see a coke banner strapped to ragnaros' chest.

I might also make the same argument about an infant. It too is utterly helpless on it's own. When do you think a human life becomes alive? For me, it's the moment brain activity begins which is 4 weeks after conception if I remeber correctly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well can it breathe and eat at four weeks? I'm saying if the sucker can't breath eat and expel waste without help of machines then it's not alive.

oh, gee, just a minor nit "other than that of the fetus."??? so which is it, no basis in health or some basis in health, particularly when it concerns the fetus? sand does this. you and hades twins? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> other than that of a lump of flesh that could not survive on its own for twenty seconds or less.... depending upon it's state of maturity. Also if we were to outlaw abortions we'd be doing more harm than good in that people would still get abortions but from much less... reputable sources and doctors. I personally equate pro lifers with religions because religious groups are the top supporter of abortion bans. I've never said ANYWHERE that all prolifers were religious, or that all deeply religious people were pro lifers. and taks, saying that all laws have a religious base is incredibly stupid... I don't see Religions having codified tax rules, tax breaks, rules about crossing state lines, or a variety of other things. Also religion itself came from fear of the unknown. and taboo's are from the fact that nothing good can come from performing said actions. For example, the incest taboo didn't come from the government saying OMG don't sleep with your family! it's wrong! (which is kinda anti adam and eve but hey...) it came from the fact that people noticed that if they did have kids with the immediate family they usually had kids who couldn't survive because of the fact that they were mentally handicapped. Also, would pro lifers have a problem with the removal of a cancer tumor? after all said tumor is a heap of flesh that can or cannot be a danger to your life and could potentially become a seperate organism in the far flung future.

Teh Logic... It burns. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll park myself behind hurl's argument.

Unfortunatly our leaders, in an attempt to retain power, are pushing to have more christian based laws... the abortion laws for example, have absolutly no basis in health or well being other than that of the fetus, but the church objects to it so we made several laws governing the practice and people have attempted to get it outlawed several times.
