Or, better yet, stop playing with it resting on the carpet next to your heating unit. Noob.

X3... Xmen
Yeah, then I don't think you'd enjoy the third one. Why would you expect otherwise? I didn't find it worse than the other two. I think it may be better (perhaps due to "newness") simply because I found it more fun. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just because I don't think a movie is "very good" doesn't mean I think it is "bad." I enjoyed the first two, mostly because there was emotional porn. Characters were developped, and there was some interesting interactions between the characters. I saw the movies because people ranted about how great they were. I watched them and thought they were good, but not very good, certainly not great. In contrast, most people (at least most I know) seem to hate this movie. They all comment on how unbelievably shallow the character development is. How dull the story is, and how unbelieveable it is (as in disbelief, not as in "ZOMG AWESOME"). Plus, I'm convinced that if Gandolf and Picard had babies, they would be the coolest people alive.

X3... Xmen
I've seen it twice already. It certainly doesn't stink to high hell. If you're too attatched to your precious comics then you might not like it. As someone who is more familiar with X-men lore more than the average Joe (but I'm far from a know-it-all), the movie works perfectly. Did they take some artistic liscense? Sure, but you have to when you've only got one (hell, even three) movie to cram everything in. People are wanting/expecting WAY too much. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It has nothing to do with "my precious comics." In fact, I hate most comics. If what everyone (and I mean everyone I know) says is true, its all flash no substance. Call me crazy, but I'd like a little character development in my stories. Everyone has told me that the movie tried so hard to jam pack everyone they conceivably could in this movie. They tried so hard that they didn't even develop any of the characters beyond "this is your name, this is your power, you're on this side. Action!" I didn't think the first two X-Men movies were very good, and by most accounts this is worse.

Pyro has never, to my knowledge, been able to create fire. In the comics, the cartoon and the movies he can only manipulate it. Haven't seen the movie, but I've heard it stinks to high hell.

During my life I'd like to...
Create a tribute game dedicated to the greatest game in the world. Complete with gleaming halo around my head and banishing the demon who made the request. Actually, most of my short term goals are complete/in the process of being completed. Much like Eldar, my goal is to complete a fiction piece.

How dare you try to use logic here!- BREAKING NEWS, NEW FRAGDOLLS ELECTED!
lol Internets.- Sadness.
Damn it. I wanted another Frag Dolls thread.- J.E. Sawyer designer interview

Blast... our secret is out.- ATI Radeon X1300
I have an eVGA 7800 GT (PCI-E version) at home, and I run Oblivion with pretty much everything max. I get anywhere from 15-40 FPS with not terrible slow downs. The problem with forums is that they are there for people to bitch. When everything is going right you don't hear a peep from them, so it often seems like all products suck if you just read forums. I don't recommend getting a Power Supply before 400W. I use a 420W. You can skimp on some things in a computer, like RAM or sound card, but Power Supply and motherboard are 2 things you do not want to be cheap items.- "Save the internet."
The telecom companies are basically trying to say "we're trying to IMPROVE the internet, by providing you, the end user, with the best services, and using the money made to make the internet faster." The knee-jerk reaction from everyone on the issue is "get your government off my internets!" That is where the big problem lies. The problem with posting at work is you type off the cuff and make lots of errs.- "Save the internet."
Yeah sorry, I had it backwards. Check out the article I posted, he elaborates on it much more clearly than I can while at work.- "Save the internet."
That's the problem, there are no good guys, but the Telecom industry is most assuredly the bad guys. They basically want us to pay for them to make money. The "Save the internet" link is the telecom guys.- "Save the internet."
Currently, there is discussion in the congress about the internet, and regulating it. Neither side is right, but there is this huge "Save the internet" movement based on fallacious and specious arguements made by the telecom industry.- "Save the internet."
Don't buy into that hype. You're not really "saving the internet" or "keeping it free." All you're really doing is giving your ISP the ability to charge for both ends of the internet, logging on and end access. http://americablog.blogspot.com/2006/05/net-neutrality.html http://www.savetheinternet.com/ http://www.dontregulate.org/ Josh Silver has this to say. "Save the internet" is a buzz word used to generate hype for a cause that actually hurts the internet. Don't take my word for it. Click the links and do your own research, but when the telecom industry, the industry you pay to access the internet, is preaching "Save the internet" it requires more than a casual glance. /PSA - J.E.
