yeah it's vanilla Rome really didn't like the Barbarian Invasion expansion, and from what i hear the Alexander one is kinda lame definitely thinking of checking out the Total Realism mod once we get the net sorted out at my new flat

i really seem to be on a Rome Total War binge at the moment decided to quickly check out the Macedonians out before going to bed, and sure enough next thing i know it's 4am and i now have a massive empire greeks, thracians, brutii, spqr, and julii attacked me - killed them scipii attacked me - currently have them down to one tiny settlement in africa gauls and egyptians attacked me - they're next on the hit list. especially the egyptians because they took out my seleucid allies

How is it? Its on sale on xbla for 5 bucks right now. I would say that it's worth a $5 investment if you like Magic (I picked up the PC version for $10 - although that came with the first expansion pack, something that retails for $5, so it was really $5 per game). Sure, it doesn't have a deck builder and the opponents can be annoying, but overall it's a fun game to kill time with. i've had the pc version for ages very outdated as far as the newer editions of cards go, but that suits me fine as my brother taught me how to play when i was about 6 and it's all the cards i'm familiar with from playing at home with him

i love that game ^_^ simple yet great fun and a good way to kill a few spare minutes

still haven't tried HoN, but DotA was fun to play over LAN with a few mates the Dwarven Sniper was hilarious for pwning people with

yeah i got a couple of songs like that Cat Stevens - Morning has broken played it at a friend's funeral about 10 months ago and it's still a bit fresh also, Last Kiss is another song that brings to mind some unhappy memories - losing my girlfriend in a car crash a few years ago

awesome idea i heard about what happened from samm couldn't believe it at first. love him or hate him, he certainly was a distinctive personality on this forum and it's sad to see him go

nearly done with first playthrough of Dragon Age can't wait to kill Loghain - he's really been pissing me off also played a bit of good ol' Rome Total War playing as the Seleucids, and after a very rocky start of getting attacked by the Egyptians, Greeks, Pontus, Armenians, and Parthians i've managed to gain dominance of pretty much everything east of Greece. next up is taking out the Thracians and finishing off the Greeks, then on to the Romans

today at work i met the new manager we discussed the fact that we shall both be working saturdays and therefore shall look after eachother in the event of extreme hangovers she seems alright so far other than that i've just been stuffing around trying to persuade a friend to get "Shryke was here" tattooed on her lower back hehe

If you're finding it easy I'd say you should crank up the difficulty. I found Hard to be pretty comfortable, but YMMV. well there have been a few fights that i've struggled through, but haven't had to reload more than once for anything

first day back at work after having 2 weeks off was a good couple of weeks really living in a new flat with flatmates i actually like, caught up with some family and took my nephews to the museum, had a very insane "adventure", and generally took some time for myself for a change also got very distracted playing Dragon Age and Red Dead Redemption on my flatmate's new PS3

i've seen the first 4 episodes so far just seems like they're trying to show up Rome by showing even more violence and boobs

i'm on leave so don't have to be back at work for a couple of weeks i've spent a few glorious days actually getting to sleep in, and catching up with friends i haven't seen in ages i'm mostly packed for the move next weekend, so right now i've got things pretty easy

yeah i was already drunk at that point i remember someone giving me some rum even though i hadn't finished my glass of wine, and looking down at the 2 glasses and deciding that it would be far more efficient to simply put it all in the single glass

haven't really been going out as much lately, but i went to a party last night quite foolishly ended up with a mixture of rum and pinot gris in my glass, and got rather boozed none the less, i had quite a fun time. met a pretty cool chick and had a very long in depth conversation about zombies was also joking around with a friend and her sister, saying we should all go home together so i can go for the sister combo. after all, i've made out with both of them, and one of them told me at the Fetish Ball last year that she'd had a sex dream about me i got home about 5am-ish, then as per usual up at 7am for work i'm not as well practiced at this as i used to be. so tired....
