i feel terrible but had an interesting night had no plans whatsoever after work yesterday, so decided when i finished to go have a beer in town then head home. ended up bumping into a friend, and then more people, then ended up at some mystery person's flat, then was at a reggae gig, then finally ended up at a party i love when everything just comes together like that

i guess i'm in just means i'm gonna have to make an effort to actually post a bit more

played dota a bit was good for just stuffing round with mates at a lan been playing lol a bit since it started. it's pretty fun, and lots of different characters i've slowly been trying out haven't tried hon, but watched a few games a friend was playing. it looked very... bloomy be curious to try this one, but will most likely just stick to the odd game of lol

yeah the bone sword thing was especially stupid last night i saw the Drawn Together movie and BitchSlap both of them were pretty stupid

That's probably because you hit 'Automatic' on every battle instead of 'Tactical'. Tactical combat opens up a whole new other game with Baldur's Gate-like combat in turn-based mode that is completely missed by going Automatic. It's absolutely nothing like Civ if you avoid Automatic fights. quite possibly - it was quite a while ago i tried it i do have the discs lying around somewhere. it's been on the "give a proper go" list for quite some time

i played i think the second one - shadow magic or something? seemed a really poor attempt at making a fantasy copy of civalisation 2

just got home from the dinner/date thingy - i think it went pretty well met up with her when she got into town and she mentioned she was thirsty. i suggested we go grab a coffee before dinner - she suggested beer (+10 awesome points) went for dinner at a nice vegetarian restaurant, which was nommylicious, then walked her back to her sister's place her sister's boyfriend let us in, then he went to bed and left the two of us alone in the lounge at this point it was getting pretty late and i thought about heading home (i have work in a few hours), but she insisted i stay and read her a story. strangely enough she's not the first person to request that. apparently i have a nice voice? so i read her a story then we talked for a while, then i tucked her into bed and came home it was quite a nice night

Really?! Seriously though, I'm sure you'll do fine. not really - the closest thing i've come to a proper date has just been taking someone out to have coffee and talk bollocks

dinner tonight kinda nervous - haven't really taken a girl out for a proper date before

ok one of them just promised to make me a steak and guiness pie i think we have a winner

Shryke... I wonder what would happen the day you fall deeply, madly in love with the one and only. It's probably gonna happen in 2012 well there was one once, but that came to a rather abrupt and unpleasant end... since then it's only been short term things that kinda fizzle out after a while
