anyone read the Night Watch series by Sergei Lukyanenko? my flatmate gave them to me to read but i've barely looked at them and don't know if i can be bothered if they end up being horrible

few hours of sleep and i'm perfectly fine and my gf is well aware of the sort of stuff my friends and i get up to. we're an affectionate bunch, and many a time she's seen people come up and give me a big hug and kiss - guys and girls alike. she's not the jealous type thankfully. i regularly drink with her ex's best friend and she's met a couple of mine too. no big deal

it's not as common as it used to be a couple of years ago it seemed to be a weekly occurrence also, most people get kebabs or horrible burger king or mcdonalds on their way home after a big night out. screw that, i just cooked myself an epic 6am steak i love my life

what an odd night went for a coffee with random girl i met a couple of weeks ago, stuffed around chatting for ages, then she dragged me to a gig. turns out it was my friend's show that i'd completely forgotten about. watched them play, then went back to the bass player's place for some drinks. then all of a sudden everyone was topless and random girl and a friend of mine started undressing me. then we all continued drinking as per normal. though had to shoot down the random girl again. she's really nice and cute, but i'm not gonna cheat on my gf. especially not with someone i only just met

You are in love, and are excused. well as consolation, she and i will be partaking in many delicious alcoholic beverages when i see her this weekend

believe it or not chaps, but i had not one drop of booze the entire weekend what's wrong with me?!

i don't know, i found going back and reading them again i noticed a lot more things that made it more interesting eg. in the very first book you get a hint about Varys and Illyrio working together

organising another weekend with the gf it sucks only seeing her every fortnight or so

decided to meet up with a friend for a coffee today, and we went off to our usual cafe of choice turns out a few other people i knew were there, including my ex and some girl i met last week who'd apparently heard of me apparently i'm getting well known as the guy who always gets hugged and has songs written about me she kept edging closer and started playing with my beard, then made a half joke about me going home with her, which i laughed off, but she said the offer is still open. had to turn her down, but she seems really nice instead i came home, nommed garlic bread, and now going to watch some more Sons of Anarchy a good day all in all

was supposed to be driving up with a friend to see my gf, but his car decided to die so instead he came round with lots of beer and got me drunk

just got back from spending the weekend with the gf so exhausted, but so worth it

not too shabby a day organised to go see the gf this weekend, then got a phone call about a job interview on tuesday from the sounds of things, it's a pretty sure thing ^_^

wait, what?! the Duke Nukem Forever of the fantasy book world is actually being released?! my flatmate gave me the Night Watch series by Sergei Lukyanenko to read. haven't started them just yet though. still finishing off the Golden Compass stuff
